Does what I want exist?
I want to use 2 scaffold poles to put up hammock. I want to be able to take down poles when not in use. Plan was to use wider diameter pole (knock in ground about 3ft) then use a smaller diameter pole to slot inside
Can't find anything suitable online, anyone know if scaffold poles are designed to interlock in this way?

Nip into Mellards on Campbell Road. Explain to them what you are trying to do, they've been really helpful to me with a few little projects

Why don't you just buy a hammock stand from the wide range online ?
One of our neighbours bought one last year - I think they said it was about £50 and can be assembled and dismantled very easily.

Loves the great outdoors and camping, he wants to do his Duke of Edinburgh next year. Also he's up at 7 most mornings sometimes as late as 7.30 at weekends!!
