Irrespective of FFP why would he come to a team in the bottom 4 of the League just for 4 months ?
Preston hardly a great move for him but because they are around the play-offs it would showcase him more.

Surprised with the pressure bruce is under that hes not shoving Gayle back in the squad. Wait for the "dwight is very much part of our plans, particularly with the injuries we have at the moment" card to be wheeled out in the next few days.

Didn't those figures suggest that we had already written off Imbula, Wimmer and Bera? The latest figures show we kept control of the wage bill, however it still showed a 15.5 Million loss after making near 19 million in player sales profit, something we don't have this season so far. Plus the parachute payments drop another 10 million this season so that puts us on course for a 44.5 Million loss this season before any further wage savings and any possible player sales this month. |

If they are, they’re probably gambling it will be enough to get them up at which point it will become moot. Huge gamble if they are though, but it certainly fits the profile we’ve been hearing about RE teams risking stability for the PL. |

Our Summer interest in Gayle was well publicized, but for whatever reason, a transfer didn't happen. My view is that we would only be wasting time and energy pursuing him further. Gayle had his chance and he blew it.
