We need midfield cover and nothing to suggest Brunt will play left back.

If he signed could he play this season? I'm not quite sure how the window / signings work. He's out of contract, so as a free agent he can sign for whoever he likes.

Brunts a good player and would be an excellent adition for a year. He's very well thought of by the baggies. People need to look beyond his age. The Championship is a tight league with games swung on a sixpence and if we are to move up the league, players like Brunt with his set piece expertise could come in very handy. Are you sure we’ll be in the championship?

We aren't getting relegated, stop being so damn negative.

We are not going to be relegated. Michael oneill will have the team firing on all cylinders in a 9 game race. No pissing about finding out what players he likes, systems, repairing the damage of other managers. From the off I pray we hit the ground running and are full of momentum

Would be surprised if someone got an absolute no fee bargain with Brunt.
However I doubt very much it will be us now having signed MF & all the other incomings being Dad's Army conscripts.

I can't see what every one is so uptight about these possible signings, MON clearly knows what is required and signing good experienced pros on short term deals to compliment some of the younger prospects isn't a bad thing. Gone for now are the days when we were spunking £18m on the likes of wank signings like Wimmer Imbula an Badou. Gouranga.

To be honest mate, if we hadn't signed Fox or Mikel I wouldn't be adverse to bringing Brunt in. I just think there are other positions that need improving right now.

He does, that list is far from exclusive - just a small example. Gouranga.
