Apparantly Stoke is only 1 of 20 locations in the UK were 5G is available. 7 cities had it earlier this year and Stoke was one of 13 cities being "turned on" today.
Does this mean that we will actually be able to use our internet access at the match?
Can anybody enlighten me in how 5G improves on 4G in practice use terms.

It means we’ll all be microwaved to death within about 12 months.

Using Stoke people as a testing ground then.
With all the possible suggested health risks and Lloyds of London excluding illness from 5G in their insurance, 300 starlings dropping dead during a 5g trial in the Hague, is it worth it just to upload a picture a Nano-second quicker?

Depends where the masts are situated if you’ll get coverage at the match. If a film traditionally takes an hour to download on 4G it’ll download in like 50 seconds on 5G (obviously caveated)

I doubt it will become commonplace for 12/18 months given you're going to need a 5G compatible phone to pick up the service. Apple is likely to launch their first 5G iPhone in September

Gifs don’t really work on here do they. This site needs dragging into the 21st century.
