What an Agenda some of you have.. In what way is it an agenda ss, the stats prove the criticism is correct? A very weak argument, or rather no argument at all from stokeson. Some just won’t hear it, even though everything points to him being dodgy for many many games.

At the start to middle of this season though he's been very poor.

We all knowat at his best he's a superb goalkeeper, but his focus seems to have been elsewhere in the first half of the season. I really think we should have let him go if we had bids around £12M for him. I don't know if anyone came close to that valuation though?

He was outstanding and duly deserved an England call up but he has been really poor at times. Reluctant to come for a cross and when he has he has punched it into his own player. He has time on his side and I really hope he can regain some form. People can argue all they want but the fact is that he’s at a struggling Stoke who could feasibly be in league one next season, with JB playing a big part in that.

Huddersfield away. Arguably Fulham too. I do think he has a point, Butland's been better and he's claimed some crosses and balls into the box that I don't think he would have at the start of the season. There's still a player in there if he can get his confidence back, if things to continue to improve for him over the next couple months we should offer him a new contract while his stock is low. He’s still been at fault for goals though. A new goalkeeper still has to be a priority imo.

Well we won't sign one in January as we have three but I agree we should be keeping tabs on options encase Jack continues his form. I'm just saying there's a scenario where the team picks up, so does he and things suddenly look a lot rosier.

Even if his form improves it'll be over a short period so people won't be tripping over each other to sign him, he'll be down to his last year and we'll be lucky to get more than 5 million. If we can get him playing again soon clearly the best option is to sign him to a new contract, stick with a bloke who's been a fucking good servant to the club, and get a better fee for him down the line.

Maybe. He’s had one good season with us though. The rest has been average to poor. I really don’t have a lot of time for him and see him and have seen him as one of the biggest issues we have over these last few years. He inspires no confidence in his defence and never has done. We need a new goalie irrespective.
