At 40 years old and a few stone overweight I would still outmark him every day of the week. Keep trying that little roll over the ball and cut inside and I’d snap the wimp. Verlinden may not be the answer but he cannot be any worse than that bottle job

When was the last time he had a positive impact on any game? Until we have another winger, O’Neil will continue to pick him. I hope Verlinden is brought back and puts him under pressure- and before someone says he’s a left winger, he can use both feet!

There is a reason that he spends barely two seasons at any club before they move him on. A pity that the buying club doesn’t see it.

He’s a creative player who is proven to be effective at this level. I don’t particularly rate him, but we will never see him perform to anywhere near his potential when all of his teammates are one-paced grafters with no vision.

Talented coward, expect we will recall Verlinden and see a different Tom Ince with some competition in the background.

Absolute joke. Shawcross was a better winger. And even he cut in on his left too

He's simply not a right winger and never will be He didn't perform at the too if Nathan's diamond He might be worth a go on the left wing where he will be far more likely to take his fullback on and hit the byline.
Can see a loan for him

You have just summed Ince up perfectly- his vision is finding someone to hide behind or to pass sideways to. He isn’t quick and he was last effective at this level 3 seasons ago. Definitely past his best, if we can offload for anything like £4m. then we should do so.

Sounds legit.

I tolerate him. He can be pants but he shows flashes of real quality. His cut inside and run in the first half shows he can do it well enough, he just doesn’t take the game by the horns the way he should do/has done for spells for other clubs.

For the number of times he does it, he’s not worth his place in the team. No assists, one goal- nowhere near good enough- the 40 year old who is two stone overweight wouldn’t be much less effective than those stats would he?

Had a good game today. Ran his nads off and provided a threat.
Don't start another anti Ince thread off for the sake of it - unless you actually watched the game.
