Sure it was a Saturday mate . I just remember it being pitch black and the floodlights were on when we scored, if it was winter, then that'd make sense. It’s like listening to a pair of Korsakoff’s sufferers🍺🍸🍾🍷🥃

Think it was 3-3 versus Wolves and Eric Skeels scored

Because it is the early leavers, that don't support our magnificent bunch of footballers, that actually cause the losses. Definitely

Remember being at Southampton away in the 80,s 3-0 down at h-t then we pulled it back to 3-3 only to lose 4-3

I can count the number of times I have left early on the fingers of one hand. Unfortunately, I used up the little finger of my other hand in the 89th minute today😒. But I just couldn’t stand the idea of losing to two Gary Monk set pieces in a game we should have comfortably won, and I was not prepared to hear the Wednesday fans crowing about it at the end.
That’ll learn me!

That’ll learn me! There is one advantage of taking 2 octogenarians to the match. They have to wait for the rush to begin to die down before they will risk the stairs to the exits, so even if I was ever tempted, there is no point. Enjoy the highlights on Quest!

We were playing welll there was always a chance of one goal,I can understand people leaving if it was a shit game, just like sitting through a shit film and leaving early, but this was a good movie with a fantastic ending, always better live than on TV.

That’ll learn me! Could you hear the goals go in from outside? I heard the roar following Campbell’s goal, which I assumed was the Away fans at the final whistle. But a bloke near me, who was listening to the radio commentary, shouted ‘Goal!’ and then told me what was going on. He did the same at the second goal, and I had my own, private, bittersweet, mini-mental somewhere near Heron Cross🥺. Never Again!

I can’t believe it, today was the first time I’ve ever left early, because my mate was driving and asked if I wanted a lift to the pub. I said yes as it was raining, left on the 85th minute and well you know the rest....

Unlucky kidcrew, We once scored twice in injury time to get a draw at home to wolves, i've never contemplated leaving early since then I remember that game....2-2 .........pissing down with rain, think it was either Bluto or Doddy who got the equaliser down the Stoke End.

Not at all pal, we almost NEVER come from behnd. Anyone who thought we would get even a point after going 1-2 behind yesterday is a liar or blind optimist.

Can't blame fans leaving early, not when most of our players haven't turned up at all.

The winner was probably my favourite mental ever, until Assaidi came along against Chelsea. I don't have the same feeling towards the team as I did when Stein and Assaidi hit their winners, but in some ways yesterday's result could prove to be much more significant.

Eric Skeels will be most upset. His first Stoke goal for about 7 years and you attribute it to someone else.

Yes I had it in my head that as soon as they took the ko after the second goal the ref blew for full time although it was a long time ago.
