Program on ITV iPlayer, by John Pilger. It was banned from being shown before the election. Check it out & see why...? Privatisation of the NHS stemming back to an idea by Oliver Letwin & others in the 80’s...

Not watched it but Pilger is a polemicist, i wouldn't take his documentaries too seriously, he's like Michael Moore but without the sanctimony.

Purdah didn’t seem to stop plenty of right wing bias on its way to herding masses to the polls🐑

A short guide to publicity during the pre-election period, known as 'purdah'. ... The term 'purdah' has come into popular use across central and local government to describe the period of time immediately before elections or referendums when specific restrictions on communications activity are in place. Purdah. The practice in certain Muslim and Hindu societies of screening women from men or strangers, especially by means of a curtain.

if you want a functioning NHS you need a healthy private sector to pay for it, if corbyn had got in his tax plans would diminish revenue because they'd destroy the productive nature of the market, thus he'd have to borrow even more money, eventually the country goes bankrupt, how would the NHS do if that happened ?
Pilger was a big supporter of socialism in venezuela, he made documentaries praising it, how are they doing at the moment ?

If you had just said the NHS is in a shit state I'd agree with it and support the thread but you always make a political point by misleading its pathetic.

You could give the NHS unlimited funding and it would still be substandard. The NHS is a political football that no party is willing to fix.....or is able to. It's needs root and branch reform but it won't get it. One big problem is the IT system. The Tories tried to fix that by throwing billions of pounds at a new system.....not millions but billions, think about that for a minute....and in the end they gave up.

Think you’ll find the money on IT system was mostly wasted during Labour administration before the Conservatives/Coalition pulled the plug on it in 2011 by which time £11b had already been spent. Instead, local health trusts and hospitals were allowed to develop or buy individual computer systems to suit their needs

I have been and still am a proactive demonstrator when I get the time.going back to the miners strikes to demonstrating against the EDL and their ilk.As I said earlier this week Im not your usual employer. I was there when the EDL ran amok through Stoke and filmed quite a bit of it.It was weird as I knew most of the EDL and I was on the other side.

Unlike your last post directed at me I do not make any threats on the internet. Why should I? As for challenging violence I dont normally put myself and my partner in a position where violence occurs. You can either believe my posts or not its up to you I couldn't really give a toss.I have no reason to lie and no ego to rub, sorry to disappoint you.
