Some will slaughter me for saying this, but I think Cousins has been more effective in the DM role that last 2 games then Badou has been by and large. Badou has been excellent on his return just as he was in that relegation season along with Shaqiri Cousins has played well but let’s not rewrite history eh He was excellent in the relegation season? Wow

Decent player but questionable attitude. Not what is needed in the dressing room. Ndiaye,Imbula, Wimmer and Berahino are all instrumental in the downfall of our football club! Where's the 'questionable attitude' stuff come from though? Lambert wouldn't have tolerated that. Jones said quite the opposite. Both played them. I'm seeing this being peddled far and wide at the moment. I swear some of our fans expect the players all to go to bed at night wearing Stoke pyjamas and calling their pet dog Stan but in truth we're just a job. All Stoke can ask for is application and professionalism and that's exactly what we've seen from him regardless of his long term intentions

How much can we expect from a Turkish club if the move should be a permanent one? I really think we'll be very lucky to get as much as £6M, which again means a big loss of money!

Nowhere near as good as some think he is. Good riddance Yet our best player by a long shot. Good riddance indeed, let’s keep the likes of Allen, Woods etc... they’ve been real show stoppers.

I think we're so desperate to get him off the wage bill we'll let him go for peanuts.
Sounds very much like we're on the cusp of getting points deducted if we don't make these tough decisions.
Blame Rowett and Jones for this shit storm.

I'm no expert on FFP by any means, but don't the recently released financial statements show that whilst FFP cannot be ignored, we should be comfortable with it? Any problems that exist will come next season when we receive our last parachute payment, but I don't think that things look anything like as gloomy as we expected.
Obviously the more dross that we can remove, the better our position will be.
It seems that TS did his job.

There’s a real ‘ground zero’ feel about things at the moment. Get rid of everyone we can , get relegated and try to start again. If someone had dared to speculate all this 5 years ago they would have been locked up !

Blame Rowett and Jones for this shit storm. They only shoulder some of the blame. The majority lies with John Coates a multi multi millionaire courtesy of his fathers sperm and his sisters brains.

Key questions for Scholes .
1 What is the logic in fire selling or loaning our better players when the team is losing and we are heading For relegation 2 if it’s FFP why did you take such a Payrise 3 if it’s not FFP is the manager at liberty to pick these players 4 If it is FFP how have you a Ceo allowed that to become such an issue Give the level of investment in underperforming assets 5 Will you resign in the event of relegation 6 why appoint a manager with no relevant experience 7 was the manger aware of the fire sale when he was appointed

If someone had dared to speculate all this 5 years ago they would have been locked up ! It's the hope that kills you. Everytime we win a game I think "here we go, we're going to climb the table", then I'm smashed back down at the next game or game after - each time we get let down a little bit of my desire to go to the match dies. After a season ticket for almost 40 years I think my hope is coming to an end. I cannot see anything other than relegation. I have a funny feeling we may get even worse towards the end of the season and end something like 15 points from safety.

I go to games through habit now and nothing else - I’ve seen it all before and this time it feels just plain miserable.

Wuzza The additional thing with me is that I don't really watch any football apart from Stoke City (despite having the Sky Sports package). Over the years we've had other dismal periods but its been a sort of inane sense of duty to go to support the club through its tough times. In addition its the only place that I see some friends now and also go to meet them. As time goes by we all get older and more and more of our friends stop going for various reasons (family, ill health, moving away etc). This removes part of the reason to attend for me too. I hate (and hated whilst we were there) the "americanisation" of Premier League coverage and insane wages so if/when I do not renew my season ticket (it will be my 40th season ticket next season) that wil probably be me done for good.

We need a wholesale clear out. Who goes? Who really cares.

How the frig does loaning Badou out solve anything towards FFP? Saving maybe 500k in wages for the next 6 months? If we are that far in the shit we need to be selling the saleable ones, not loaning them out to Turkey almost doing the other clubs a favour.
We’re even getting this bit wrong aren’t we?

Absolutely pathetic from the club.

Although I agree in part that apart from Ryan i really couldn't give a flying fuck if I ever saw any of the rag taggle bag of shit we've acquired over the last 3 years ever again, they can all piss off for me. Only problem is would you trust the former Brechin City boss to replace them with anything better, the guy worries me to death, constantly rambling on about not enough power in midfield and then constantly overlooks the only 2 powerhouses we have, he bemoans a lack of creativity and our one creative player is given a 5 minute cameo as sub every week. Not too mention he rambles on about no wingers and then continues to play this 4-3-3 bollocks, if we have no wingers fit for purpose why does the clueless fucker still play this fooking system. Other systems believe it or not are available. All in all although it's not the current managers squad that have got us in too this mess and if by some miracle we can shift a dozen of the feckless fuckers out, I've little faith that O'Neill has enough about him to replace them with anything better.
