"Trabzonspor are close to signing Ndiaye on loan for the season with a view to a permanent deal next summer, with Stoke keen to get his £35,000-a-week wages off the book. It is understood Ndiaye, signed when Stoke were in the Premier League, could fly out to Turkey to complete his move in the next 48 hours"
"England goalkeeper Jack Butland and Wales international Joe Allen could leave in the new year if acceptable offers are received, while fringe players including Peter Etebo, Nick Powell and Bruno Martins Indi may also be made available"

If he can all well and good. the big signings can go in the fire sale, the ones Jones signed can go in a car boot sale

More the merrier.
Don't get how the club can't attract a transfer fee for Badou, unless it's because any transfer fee would crystallise a FFP loss, whilst the loan won't?

These rules have been in place for a few seasons now, villa, wednesday, derby and 'boro have all been stung with Birmingham getting a points deduction. If only we had a Chief Exec that could have managed this competently.
We signed even more high earners when we were relegated, instead of cheap hungry players.
We now need to just get rid, even if players like Etebo have talent and could benefit the playing squad. It's a delicate balance to secure survival but also not fall foul of FFP. We are going to be in the championship (or worse) for seasons to come, may as well clear these useless bastards out and play some low wage high prospect talent. Yet we seem to be letting Campbell and Bursik go..

Presumably they are going to meet his salary in full which is a big factor.

Surely it would be easier to just agree to get rid of jones signings, I’m struggling to find one that has really worked maybe Danny Batth but he hasn’t set the world alight

Turkey...on loan... amazing Well worth not playing him in the last few games eh? Was thinking exactly the same. It's absolutely bonkers to make decisions like we've seen lately. Just gotta hope that the results keep going our way but it won't be via attractive, neat football or actual planning or strategy, sadly

These rules are a lot of nonsense though. If the EFL want a level playing field just set a salary cap and have done with it. If it’s supposed to stop clubs going bankrupt why bother ? If clubs are daft enough to spend what they haven’t got - hard luck - and if they can afford it , as we can , what’s the problem?

They've already tried this.
Why not wait till the end of the window to see if there is any interest from a more committed buyer?

I get it with FFP but it's so sad to see him go when he's our best player & he actually plays like he gives-a-shit.
Our wage bill is 50million. 50 million pounds. We pay these wasters 50 million pounds... Ferfuxache

Turkey...on loan... amazing Selling him for a decent fee ,even if it's less than we paid for him, is understandable. On loan. Nope.

It probably saves us £15k a week or whatever contribution they are making. And if there's a permanent deal agreed at the end with no get out clause he's essentially sold anyway......

We’ve been here before with 2/3 of these players and the sell on clause is never a binding one. Play him or sell him.

There is zero point to a loan to Turkey. Daft club. If they're paying his wages and its a big if there's every reason, I don't expect a perminent deal to happen though, not for a decent fee at least.

No there isn’t. We need transfer fees. Saving a wage of one of our best players is stupid. Sell him or play him. Nothing else makes any sense at all.
