We make him train on his own and every time he doesn’t turn up we dock his wages.

Doesn't like the cold does he ? Stick him in the under 23's and let him have his midweek trip playing in the snow I front of 300 people.
Better still have the lazy fucker sit in the boothen and let the fans know what we think of him.

'We've paid all or nearly all his wages throughout his loan period'. You sure about that? Got a link? Managers do keep taking him on. They have every season. If there's not a sane manager who'd take him on, why are you advocating we find a use for him? That's all in a day's work when you're manager at SCFC. O'Neill knew he'd have to deal with the Imbula problem one day when he took the job; he just came "home" a little sooner than expected. We don't have to love him, but since we'll continue to pay his wages we might as well play him. How can he possibly do worse than he's already done. I don't think managers are queeing up to take him. It's been very, very difficult for us to convince anyone to take him, it's practically been two minutes to 12 on last transfer window day, and while we'll never be told in public, I wouldn't be surprised if Lecce received a handsome sum when they agreed to have him. They certainly celebrated that they didn't have to pay anything in some tweet back in August. And yet four months later they've had enough. He won’t play Etebo or Badou so there’s more chance of me being in the starting line up than this clown.

What’s your point, sorry? Ndiaye wants a move irrespective of what position he’s playing. That's my point. What does that have to do with Imbula?

I'm not personally in favour of Imbula; I'm just trying to point to the fact that he is an employee of SCFC for another 18 months and we have to do something constructive about it. Constructive being the operative word. Bringing that toxic waster back into the squad is not constructive to my mind. Do we have a choice?

Yes, pay off his contract. You make that sound so easy. Have you got any idea of how much money that is? Plus the knock on effect of any other Stoke misfit, and we have some, just waiting around to be paid off.

The potential knock on effect of embedding this waster into the squad makes it a choice worth considering

According to wiki, his real name is Gilbert Wanka lol. Funny if true. 🤭🤭🤣🤣 Is that really his real name? I’ve heard that he won’t have much playing time left, because he’s actually 47.

It would be good to know that relegation clauses existed and all kicked in last season. I always think back to the Sky footage of Imbula arriving at Clayton Wood on the dark, January 2017, night that he signed. He got out of the car, stretched / yawned as he reached for the stars. It was as though he was saying to himself: "That's enough effort for the next 5.5 years". As someone once said on here, Stoke may as well have loaded a wheelbarrow of £50 notes each month and tipped it into the Trent. Add in Wimmer, Berahino, Vokes, Ince and Smith...... Unbelievable! £75 million in fees down the drain. Add in wages, signing on fees, loyalty bonuses..... Massively unfair to lump Vokes,Smith and Ince (much as I don't like him) with Imbula and Winner. Lord, the latter three players obviously cost less combined than the first three. Their attitude is clearly not as bad as Imbula, Wimmer and Berahino. The poor nature of the latter three signings is compounded by the fact that they were made in the Championship and followed the first three. All six have in common the fact that we paid way over the odds for them. There is little chance of recovering any significant proportion of those fees. There are substantial ongoing wage liabilities that we are lumbered with for years. All six (and more) can be comfortably filed under the category of terrible signings.

This is Stoke you're talking about.
Absolutley nailed on we'll be stuck with Duffy and this lad will be sent back at 20 seconds notice and we signed up to both outcomes last August.

To avoid a large one off FFP loss, would need to be a loan till end of contract, but agree in the principle; he's worth less than worthless.
