Old enough to know it’s time for change , Stoke hasn’t benefited under labour either , at one time you could put a red rosette on a dog and it would get in , 71% of ppl in Stoke voted for Brexit , Old Corbyn thought he could reverse it , the ppl have spoken and he has been shot down in flames Old enough to know it’s time for change? You are voting for the same,I dont understand your comment. This city has had many powerful and extremely good Labour politicians in the past who have done good things for the city. What have the tories ever done for us? The people wanted Brexit , so voting Tory was the only way

I'm deeply ashamed of the people of Stoke On Trent. I come from an era when the city consisted of hard working men and women who worked in industries such as the potteries, mining and steel and where people knew where their best interests were served. Now, despite 10 years of stagnation and decline under the Tories the pig ignorant mugs have signed the death warrant for the public services they rely on. You have betrayed the heritage of our great grandparents and the future of our children and grand children. Times have changed , the people wanted Brexit and that’s what’s happened

Stoke on Trent voting for a party that has ripped apart its soul and made it a ghost town by ripping its funding yet its people have actually voted for them. How a person with a normal job with and a normal income from this city can put a X in that tory box is beyond me Shameful Would it not have been more shameful to vote for a party full of racists ? It’s labour voters that should hang their heads in shame.

It seems from these election threads it's not just the Labour party stuck in the 70's it's many of their supporters too..... fortunately there's fewer of them. Bitter, angry, stuck in the past, narrow minded and above all bad losers

If she hadn’t have lost her job and labour gets in she wouldn’t have made her views public. Thankfully, people have seen past this wolf in sheep’s clothing of a party.

With respect the pottery industry and mining industry around stoke pretty much disappeared. But yet labour kept coming in.
Why did stoke not benefit from the Blair years with the regeneration that other places did
So indeed surely you can understand stoke thinking let’s give the tories a chance to actually deliver on their promises.
It has to be different this time. Tories will actually have to defend this labour wall they have smashed down.
To blame the voters of stoke and the other towns is wrong, degrading and elitist and does nothing to solve any problem
