Avoid Flight Path 737 on a commodore 64, it's gash.

I am talking about this decade tbf... I flew 747, 737, DC10 one of the best flights I had was a 747 Heathrow to LAX when I had a medical emergency when one of my passengers had a cardiac arrest and I had to make an emergency landing on a short runway to save his life. Good news we all made it 😁

Accidentally came across the new one being advertised on youtube....still being made as yet I think but, it looks amazingly real
Even down to the detail of vehicles and people going about their business below
The accuracy/ detail of the cities from above is breathtakingly real....even the movement of the seas

I know mate I've looked but I wanted to be a qualified pilot not just a day out that's the real cost, hrs and hrs of training I could not justify.

Ah right, bloke I used to work with used his RAF pay off plus a load of savings/earnings to become a commercial helicopter pilot, he got about 60k into it when the recession hit and he couldn't continue. Ex wife took flying lessons, don't know how far she got with them, it was £130 a pop, sounds dear but I suppose it's more or less a decent away day nowadays. Think she planned on buying a share of a small plane eventually.

I'm eagerly awaiting FS11 on PC and Xbox, it'll be on the Xbox Game Pass so it won't cost me anything aside from my monthly subscription.
I never usually play any flight simulators, my experience has always been on racing/rally sims, so DIRT 2, Richard Burns, Assetto Corsa, rFactor etc...
Thinking of certainly giving it a go and should the enjoyment stay, purchasing a true flight stick. I suspect with it having a multiplayer option I might be a bit more invested, I've got a mate who was thinking of getting the game as well. Graphically it looks stunning from the beta screenshots I've seen.
