Cheers, I dont do much in the way of social media so I'm running behind the times! If theres no mention on the official site or its mentioned on here anywhere I'm completely out the loop! On the BCFC site it mentions their Chief Exec went & informed the players of the news immediately after the match. Seems like Benik certainly made an impression down there, as he did at Wolves.
Just gutted things never worked out great for him here at Stoke up to now & he seemed to leave abit swiftly under a cloud. But I mentioned on the KnottFM post a few weeks back that it would be nice if he fitted into MON's future plans going forward & could be that striker we know he could be.
No-one can imagine or predict how this tragedy will affect Benik going forward & his career will be the least of his thoughts or worries right now but know that us Stokies will back him 100% if it works out that his future is here at Stoke.
Just gutted for the lad and his family. Nice touch from Wolves, wearing black armbands, and the crowd sang his name. Just shows. when all rivalries are set aside we are all just one big footy family. RIP Little one, and god bless Benik and his close ones.
Very, very sad. Some things just transcend the chatter of this board and make us stop, and think, and to realise there are many more things more important and to get upset about than football and your team. Thoughts to Benik and his family at this awful time.
