Is there any way we could move from this place? The Coates family could build a new stadium with the money they have, they could call it the Coates stadium if they want. The Bet 365 is soulless and freezing fecking cold, even in summer, it makes the whole match day experience shite and to be honest a chore. Let's have a purpose built stadium in the city centre somewhere, perhaps where they are on about building a music venue in Hanley, it could be dual purpose if it had a roof.

There is a site just off the A500 with a ready made rail station, easy access of the A500, due to have a road built off the Asda roundabout ,also just down the road from Bet365 headquarters.

Don't mind where we go as long as the match day experience becomes better. Bars, food outlets, parking, easy access, Warmth etc.

Perhaps we could ground share at Vale Park. They seem to be having a measure of success at the moment. It may be that this could rub off on our collection of hapless dummies.

Nothing wrong with the ground Apart from being built on the cheap, being built in a location that's not exactly ideal for fans, having no corner s and a tunnel that comes out by the away fans there's nothing wrong with it. But, to quote The Irishman, "It is what it is".

Oh god. Here we go again with the Brit/365 bashing. The old chesnut we should never have moved out again. Yes we should. The Vic was a shithole. If we'd redeveloped it it would of been a shit hole with seats, and plenty of posts blocking your view. Instead we had the chance to move to a new stadium for less money than redevelopment would cost. As for this soulless crap. You forgetting how the stadium was absolutely bouncing every week when we first went up to the Prem? It's souless these days because we've been watching absolute shit on the pitch for 3 and a half years. And a stadium in Hanley is quite frankly laughable. Can you imagine the traffic? Stoke are at home and its christmas shoppping time! The city would be at a standstil. Our stadium is perfectly positioned for quick and easy traffic access next to the A50/A500. Most new football stadiums are built away from the towns these days. That many people heading into Town Centres just causes chaos. And if your cold buy yourself a decent coat ffs!

It wasn’t a problem when we were stuffing Arsenal, Citeh, Liverpool et al The Brit didnt have the best of starts -Stan missed a pen, relegation followed by years of 13k crowds then pulis delivered and got fucked off. Kind of sad when you are happy to have bagged a draw against Blackburn to see the untalented lethargic 2019 school of pricks throw it away. Its not the stadium its the personnel employed in it from top to bottom

The best shithole that I have ever been in. Thats because we've got so many happy memories there. It's rose tinted glasses talking. I wonder how many away fans used to walk away from the Vic after their visit to that cramped little paddock in the Stoke end thinking they've been to a good stadium?

im with him, i want a roof, central heating, heated seats, reclining ones at that, i want waitresses, . i think a tv on the back of the seat in front so you can watch something less painful. valet parking should be a given, the a500 and a 50 should be closed to all non football traffic from 1pm until 6pm..... oh and a million pound half time draw.......im with you bingbang, get it sorted ;-)

It should have been built in hanley where Tesco is and with a rail link with stoke station. Would have given the City a clearly defined centre and massively helped the Hanley economy

Internally it’s shabby (made to minimum cost). Design wise it’s poor (tunnel position, open corners etc). It’s a meteorological nightmare (freezing cold and windy). On the logistical front it’s a complete disaster (limited access for public and private transport and a car park fiasco)
.....and yet it’s still probably the least of our problems right now.

Wear extra layers maybe? I'm always more than warm enough, because I layer up!

Well, we’ve reached the abject, stinking pits now, haven’t we.
Blaming the ground, blaming the move, blaming the atmosphere. What next? Should never have sold Greenhoff (shocking decision at the time), Mars Bars are smaller? FFS!
Simple issue is, we have shit-shopped at Lidl and Cee n Cee; we have a disjointed, bloated squad; we have had a sequence of managers who have added misfit, gutless players who have no pride, who in no way shape or form identify with the club, the city, or the fans.
We have to endure, gut wrenching, false platitudes from so-called professional players.
We have blindly, stumbled into the perfect storm of misfit players, with no desire, plenty of grubby cash, and a shocking couldn’t give a fucking toss what happens to this club of ours.
Like it or lump it, our eggs are in the MON basket and what do we get? 4 grantedly unconvincing results and the guys a goner, clueless, the end of the world is nigh, even Wrights pies have been replaced by those pastry bags full of cold mulched sick!
Simple fact is MON didn’t buy these God-foresaken jokes of spineless footballers. He is about to have a transfer window and he has a chance to raise cash via some so-called good players who have consistently shown they are fragile, clueless, inept, wasters.
They have bestowed 7 home defeats on us, capitulated, at virtually every opportunity, They have let us down.
Judge MON on the facts. We at least have 6 points from 4 games - at the moment a ratio that we would have begged for over the last 12 months.
Absolutely no guarantee we will get out of this, but I think MON is a fighter. So, let’s not act like jelly-legged, snow flakes. As fans, we have to demonstrate that the worse it gets, the more determined we demonstrate our conviction to back them - and expect of them.
If we need a fire-sale of some kind, bring it on. Get rid of the cancers and rebuild. Else, oblivion. But we are not there yet!
