I agree totally. BUT, what other reasons can you come up with? MON knows very well who his two best players are. Does he? Based on what? Are you suggesting that most folks on here realise that those pair are our best players and MON doesn't? If so you have a very highly inflated opinion of yourself.

So you’ve never questioned a manager, presumably? Why, if it’s a dreadful conspiracy and due to interference from higher up, was Badou permitted to start in midweek? Why have they been allowed to be on the bench if we don’t want them risked? MON has given every indication so far he doesn’t fancy Badou. He seems to see Woods as his DM and want Ndiaye playing higher up the pitch? Is it really outside the realms of possibility that it’s an error of judgement on his part?

At least the appointment of Michael O’Neill means Nathan Jones is now only our second worst manager of the past 20 years.

I like MON so far, he seems like a sensible bloke far removed from the histrionics of Jones. However, I do wonder if he isn't wedded to the supposed virtues of the good old-fashioned British pro's. 'Old school' in other words. I hope I'm wrong about this and he's more flexible than that but it's looking a bit like it.

Must say I am starting to worry about MON, the side he picked today was abysmal, Carter Vickers at full back, Vokes, and the midfield pairing of Joe Allen and Woods, wtf , he will throw away all the goodwill he had built up. He seems to have been lucky in his first two games, being against abject teams. Against an even competent side we look clueless.

If etebo was fit and not even on the bench it’s a done deal on O’Neil he’s finished here just a matter of time as his judgment or preparation or both are exposed as fundamentally flawed

How arrogant do you have to be to not play your 2 best player's ? We should now be fighting for every point and to hinder yourself by not playing your best team is lunacy.
