Thanks for sharing these cartoons. A nice alternative to the main election thread. This is my favourite so far - not down to political preference, but because I thought it was very, very funny!!!

Were you laughing at the sikh bloke looking at the woman’s t!ts... That detail had passed me by Btw - the Sikh bloke ain’t the only one having a sly spy. Haha, nice observations from both of you. I hadn't noticed any of the dirty old men at the front. I'm so sick of all the hot air, the posturing, the lies, the empty promises, the betrayals of this election, the cartoons are the only thing that keeps me going. I had hope - real hope - earlier this year with the formation of the Brexit Party, but it was yet another betrayal. Farage has destroyed his party and in so doing destroyed himself and the hopes of all of his supporters.

Auntie, What should Farage have done? Stuck to his promises and contested every single seat. I think that your idea of a cartoon thread away from the " arguments" in the main thread is s good one, but I am just responding to your comments. If Farage had done what you said he would have been accused of being arrogant, being in it for himself and splitting the so called" leave" vote. Almost every " voice" , leader in the Brexit movement pleaded/ persuaded him to stand down candidates, the ERG, Aron Banks, Alan Sked, some of his own MEPs ....as previously he was a lone voice. I tend to agree with you...in many ways I wish the BREXIT party had stood in every seat...but clearly this could have let Corbyn/ Hung Parliament in.....and Farage would clearly have got the blame. I think that he was in 2 minds himself and for once has perhaps gone against his better judgement. But it isn't all over at the election... it's just the beginning. The BREXIT party id right that, in my opinion, the only way forward for us to get a decent democratic society is electoral reform.....if Johnson or Corbyn don't deliver people will continue to ask questions... there will be more turmoil and more questions, more elections....and it may be that Farage remains relevant, in my opinion. Electoral reform would benefit the disenfranchised. As I've got older I've come to realise that the two party system is little different from a one party system, except we are deceived in thinking that we have a say....the same sorts of people play the same games. The leaders who seem to stand out for me are the conviction politicians ....Farage, Sturgeon, Arlene Foster. Anyway back to the cartoons

Thanks, BigJohn. Some excellent points there and I fully understand and appreciate them.
I think it's a complete misnomer to believe that had the Brexit Party fielded candidates in every seat it would let in Labour in many of them. I think by standing down in almost half the seats that's exactly what will indeed happen.
How can you expect a political party to have any influence whatsoever if they chicken out of half the seats before the race has begun? That's what angers me. Of course, the BP was never going to win, but they could have taken 40-50 seats and had a major influence on Brexit by forming a coalition with the Tories. That's what Farage had been advocating for months. How strange that he should abandon this approach and let down hundreds of prospective MPs and thousands of supporters.
Just my tuppence worth. As you say, back to the cartoons!

Apparently, Bozza thinks the birth rate will explode after Brexit. Not sure what to make of that. Yeah, He said the same whilst Mayor of London after the 2012 Olympics, which surprise surprise was also a lie. The birthrate went down. He’s a compulsive liar.

Which part went down, have you a month by month analysis of 2012 and 2013? 2012 had more births than 2011, 2013 had less than 2012 but was there a boom around March/April time in 2013?
