We have got such a long way to go. And I truly believe we have the right man to take us there. The sheer bloody drive was amazing at the end - and if the result says MoN's a lucky manager, fantastic. We've been due some of that for a long time.
6 for the quality he put out there today, 10 for the balls he's given us in a mere 2 games and minimal training ground time
= 8* from me
add * if you were there please

7.5: I thought we were tepid first half but we came out much better in the second and completely dominated the game. Big points to the Diouf call but would like to see N’Diaye start and Butland will be lucky to keep his place (again).

8. Loses points for starting Butland and not starting Badou, but we created chances, we didn’t fold and his changes and second half change of approach was sensible and ultimately won us a pig of a game.

8 - turned McClsan into decent player, but will need some majic to do anything with this defence.

We've just beat Wigan at home, it's a 10, it can only be a 10. So that 10 from me. The first step in banishing those images of Martinez being thrown up in the fucking air. Still gives me the fucking shakes.

9 - won his first two matches, didn’t fiddle with the team and made timely subs, all after having about 4 days with the players since he arrived. Long may it continue. We have manager bounce, what’s not to like!

10 performance was shite, wigan made the most of what they had, ref aturned down a fully on penno and gave a free kick. Only critisism was we looked unfit at times, but a second win when we are in the bottom three, and not affraid to bring on our match winner Diouf, its a ten from me.

8* calm. Square pegs in square holes! Like for like substitutions. Only reservations not changing Powell and Woods axis earlier and not bringing on Badou earlier. Looked more organised. Half time team talk seemed to have a positive effect instead of the last months were we got worst after! Promising start!!!

6/great result , concerning selection Powell isn’t a left sided midfielder , Allen , woods and Powell is a midfield that will be outmuscled every week , need to show this week he can make sim3 tough decisions around Butland and edwards and get a better balance in midfield

I cant fault him. If it wasnt for a stupid error I think we would have scored earlier and probably stuffed them today.
If we can avoid defeat Tuesday and I'll be over the moon. Come on lads keep it up

8*- like MON says not the best game but you can’t argue with 6 points from 6. Sub scoring the winner always a big plus for any manager

Loses points for starting Butland and not starting Badou, but we created chances, we didn’t fold and his changes and second half change of approach was sensible and ultimately won us a pig of a game. This, but I would like to upgrade the score to 9 because this was a very, very important match for us. A defeat would cancel most of the win from the last match and a win would consolidate or even enhance the positive vibe after beating Barnsley.

9* set the team up right, everyone had their fair chance, no silly subs, didn't panic when we went behind and on another day we could have scored 6 Gouranga.

9* cool calm and professional and not a Duracell bunny. A proper man manager - crucial to the other key qualities of being successful in his role here.O'Neill considers carefully what he says, delivering quiet but strong messages that will have an impact with the group and individual players. He has praised the character, spirit, battling qualities and positive reaction of the group after both of the first 2 games whilst referring to, rather than 'highlighting' areas for improvement. He's given genuine praise to specific players covering a range of contributions from both games. This will be noted by those players who have and have not yet been mentioned and will perhaps concentrate some minds more positively following the manager's reference to squad size. Early days but genuine reasons for optimism here with our manager and the experience he brings 9*

The bloke does the simple things well and doesn't seem to try to over complicate things. I'm starting to get used to players playing in their natural position and playing in a system which plays to their strengths. I can understand his subs and they seem to be made at the right time.
I'm not going to give him more than 8 at present because there is room for improvement (which should come in time) and the two teams we have beaten are are deservedly at or near the bottom of the table. But I am very optimistic that MoN is the "real deal" and will, hopefully, prove to be one of our better managers since Waddo. He's still young for a manager - and who knows how far he can take us in the next few years. It has the feel of a marriage made in heaven - I just hope he doesn't have his head turned by one of the big teams in the Premier League - at least not until he has got us there - and kept us there for a year or two.

*8.5. Great result and unbelievable to see a last minute winner as well as recovering from going behind. An extra 0.5 for not bounding on the pitch at the end.
