MON was suggesting he's suspended...and injured - so it'll be interesting to see who plays there on Tuesday O'Neill hinted at Diouf being an option anywhere across the front three in his interview with the Sentinel tonight - whether he's up to a full 90 minutes yet is another question "He’s a great option because you can kind of play him in any of the three front positions and he’ll give you everything he’s got."

Poor first half (who wasn’t), very good second half and easy MOM. About the only Stoke player I thought who played well tbh. He still got some crosses in first half Should have scored though Never been his biggest fan but fuck me sideways that was an immense performance today. You’d have to have real bias not to applaud that performance as a Stoke fan. 👍Well done son

Worked his socks off. Played for the team. Delivered some cracking crosses today. Well worth his MOTM.

We’ve heard for a long time that we’re missing leaders on the pitch. For me, that’s how you lead. 110% effort, get the ball and make things happen. The lad isn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he was fucking superb today.
Without wishing to sound negative, I don’t think we made the most of him today. He had their right back on toast every time we gave him the ball early on, but then we seemed to stop giving him the ball for some strange reason. That resulted in him coming inside to try and find the ball, and that’s not where he is effective. We figured it out again late on, but we should have been down that left side every time we had a sniff.
On a separate note, credit to Woods for some stunning deliveries today as well.

He’s always given 100% but I was never convinced he was good enough. Keep playing like you did today and you will be a fans favourite!

Aside from his crosses, runs & relentless effort today I also think he got back & defended to great effect today too. Think there was a moment during the second half where our defenders seemed to have lost their marker & their tall sub think it was Morsey was running through towards goal & McClean sprinted all the way back to make a defensive block/containment to great effect.

I've been critical of him in the past but he was superb today. Well done James!

Definitely his best performance in a Stoke shirt
Hard to knock a bloke who always puts in a shift and is always positive in his approach, but today he added the end product that is sometimes missing.

You can never question his effort but you can question his quality in the final third but today every ball he put in was a very good cross. Excellent relationship building with SW too who offered lots of attacking support to him

Think that was the big difference with him today, his hard work & endeavour had a positive outcome more often than not.. Hopefully it isnt a one off (one of them playing against former club matches like Ince had v Derby!) coz if we saw of the complete player we saw from McClean today he could be a real useful player for us going forward..

What a difference a few games make, written off by most, here we are just two games later and he’s getting all the plaudits. Long may it continue.

He always gives everything but the real difference today was his delivery was excellent.
I really hope he can be consistent now with that kind of quality delivery

put a great shift in today, superb. His yellow was a joke though.
Seems to have been told to get the ball in early, some great deliveries today and far away man of the match

He shows Ince up , when it comes to drive and determination, even though he has less ability.

He’s always given 100% but I was never convinced he was good enough. Keep playing like you did today and you will be a fans favourite! He may not have been quite good enough as a Premier league striker but he sure as hell is good enough in this division and especially compared to some of the shit the last 2 managers have signed.
