Regardless of whether it was a second rate footballer or a politician who tweeted that thought I would imagine that if McDonald's staff were paid a minimum of 15 quid an hour the price of a cheeseburger would probably treble therefore taking a cheap meal enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of lower paid families out of reach. Probably resulting in the closure of many outlets and loss of jobs. The socialist utopia doesn't take into account practicalities. |
