He’s been our best player this season so far. Will be a big miss. With Etebo & Badou Badou yes but he’s only played a few games. Etebo still needs to do more for me tbh. Defend better, attack better, something tangible.

I thought that he was awful when he first arrived. He is clearly one of those players that needs to be coached and mentored because with a bit of inspiration (from himself and the manager as he is only 24 years old), he clearly has the makings of a good footballer, and not as a fullback, but a midfielder.

Regardless of his talents or otherwise, in the darkest times we've witnessed this season Clucas is one of the few to have played like it actually mattered. Hope his injury is not serious; if we are to get out of this mess, we are going to need a lot of that attitude in the weeks and months to come.

He's broken both his feet, torn his ACL and groin musscle, he'll probably have to have at least 1 leg amputated and possibly 3 toes on the other foot. He will never play again and balloon to 18 stone due to his lack of mobility. On the other hand he's bruised his foot and will be back after a few days rest. Gouranga.

A metatarsal fracture perhaps? .... correct Gods. The most likely injury from that scenario. Will be out for a while

Good at linking up play but lacking in goals and assists. For all his limitations Clucas at least offers a goal threat. Allen/Etebo would be less of an issue if we had some wide players that could chip in with goals but at the moment we only have Ince (and we still need to see if he can get back to his form under Rowett).

..... That’s why I think MBD got a run there. Could be an alternative to Ince & maybe some goals

My tip for player of the season! Come on Sam. We need 10 goals from you this season given the threat from the front players and other midfielders.

Was excellent today, and two fantastic goals On the plus, we do have NDaiye and Etebo to come back after the international break Much better formation today I thought and intent, been missing for a while Still cack defensively though - 2 poor goals to concede, Baath and Ward give me kittens! Edwards didn't cover himself in glory for the first goal, and none of them for the second either.

To be fair to the guy, he had major knee surgery before he came to us and missed the first 3 months of the season. It takes a long time in any sport for a person to get back to their best, after major surgery, some never do get back to their best.
