I spotted a probation officer carrying a knife at the centre this morning. Minutes later she was lunging into a slab of cake.

You can’t buy knives in tesco anymore, in case there’s another blood bath in the dairy aisle.

There's nothing wrong with carrying a knife.
There is something wrong with stabbing someone.

I may have misheard the bulletin but wasn't someone stabbed at a Youth Centre in London the other day, somewhere like Haringey. The local Council were holding a knife awareness day.
Edit. The missus says Hillingdon Civic Centre. 18 year old lad killed.

OK I've caught up now. Should have read on further. Now that the folks of Hillingdon are clearly aware of knives, and the councils efforts brought results, maybe they could have some road safety awareness days, or help the aged talks.
