Dont we have a truly wank record with Mclean in the team?
He cant defend (we all knew that apart from Jones). But he also creates sweet FA with his crosses hardly finding a man.
At least Ince scored a few goals for us last season. Mclean's stats must be pretty woeful and we generally lose with him in the team

Have you been on Twitter in the last couple of years or so? You can pretty much put your mortgage on the fact that anyone with the Nation's flags in their Twitter header usually backs it up with pro-Brexit, anti-Europe, borderline right-wing comments as well. That's just a generalisation. Nope, I really beg to differ.

I really don't care I have my stance he had his. I don't agree with his stance but that's as far as it goes. Much more controversial shit posted on here to disagree with. Same here matey,my issue with Maclean is that he is not a very good footballer and we didn't need to sign him.

I have very little hope of a positive outcome for tonight, stick him and Ince in and I'll have none whatsoever.

It's not the poppy, it's his words and actions. He glorifies Republican terrorists who killed women and children...some not too far away in Warrington where we have a few Stoke fans.

So, just to be clear, no bomb threats. It doesn’t really discuss the subject very well. Edit: Not disagreeing/agreeing with it by the way, just don’t think it’s a very good article.

Funny how all the staunch brexiteers seem to have an issue with McClean too. Work it out for yourself. "All the staunch Brexiteers.........." really? I’m a staunch Brexiteer but fully support McLean in his decision not to wear a poppy. The reasoning is simple, our ancestors fought two world wars and many other conflicts for freedom to choose your own way of life and make your own decisions. I wear a poppy because I choose to remember the sacrifices made not because I’m a "Brexiteer".

Eggy Bread sounds like Emily Thornberry sneering at the St. George flags hanging during the world cup!

Ok not all but a vast majority of the posters who post on the everything else forum whos allegiances are with brexit also have posted of their hatred towards MCclean

You'll have to indulge smeggy, he struggles with people having a different view on this to his own, which means you're a swivelled-eyed racist by default.

What's that got to do with it ? Have you been on Twitter in the last couple of years or so? You can pretty much put your mortgage on the fact that anyone with the Nation's flags in their Twitter header usually backs it up with pro-Brexit, anti-Europe, borderline right-wing comments as well. - I'm a proud flag-waving Brit (or used to be), don't get me wrong - but I'm sick of the flag(s) being hi-jacked by "a certain type". And then there’s this fella!

Name calling or just a general statement on how some people overreact to the vision of a St. George's flag and the fact that some people are proud to display them? "Snobby, elitist bullshit" is not name calling.

Seriously though, I don't like sharing the same airspace as someone prepared to abuse a player in the red and white. N.I./Ireland is a complex, long-running issue - read any book about it - and no side involved emerges smelling of roses.

It’s entirely up to him as a man what his views are and I respect him for standing by them.
But I can’t be arsed with dickheads who go mardy if anyone questions JM.. he’s got his opinions, he doesn’t want wear a poppy fine, I’ve got my opinions I want to wear one that’s fine. No ones right or wrong..
