This squad (as I've said many, many times is shite. Much as I hate to say this again, don't go! Maybe they'll get the message! I'm getting close to that point. Pulis back would seal the deal.

What scares me is how well Jones has brainwashed everybody in the club with his "positivity", the mind is a powerful thing and it can trick people into believing your so called philosophy! He has proper wound the family under his little finger and It surprises but doesn't shock me. Money doesn't give you confidence or self-belief or a strong character.

Scholes is the one who needs to go first. I can't understand how he gets away with it I really can't. Zero accountability. Its just not how a business can function. If he was CEO at Tesco or any other organisation for that matter he would have been gone long ago. It’s not that simple. Weasel face has wriggled his way into the boardroom too so it’s not just a case of sacking the CEO. I’m with you though, I can’t stand the bloke and he needs to go. Problem is he’s a ruthless scheming rat who will throw anyone under the bus to paint himself in a better light. Believe me, I know first hand...

I know its not that simple unfortunately and I also get there are many things we don't fully understand. Its just got to a point now where we may as well fuck him off and get someone new in with modern day ideas as how to run a football club. Everything about the club nowadays screams amateur hour.

Nathan knows he should be gone. We all know he should be gone. Why oh why don't the owners know this?

The last time we finally gave Scholes some stick and rowett was gone within the week. Yes Scholes needs to go but so does Jon Coates, utterly clueless the pair of them

Remember when the club issued that patronising statement just after relegation where it said "lessons have been learned" ? Just what lessons did they learn and what have they done to improve things so that they didn't happen again ? By the looks of it sod all has been learned and sod all has been done to improve things. It really does seem that the only thing that will possibly make the Board sit up and take notice is if the fans do start to give the manager, Scholes et al some serious stick. I agree that it's not ideal during a game, but what other options do we have if we want to voice our displeasure in a way that the Board can't ignore. Scholes has said much the same thing since this statement was released on the radio on a couple of occasions since. 'The lessons have been learnt' speal was clearly a time stalling platitude to pacify fans who were demanding change and questioning the regimes decision making after the Premier League relegation. I know it's been over spoken about before but the infamous Peter Coate Quote of not knowing what all the fuss is about is quite possibly as relevant right now as it was back in the days when it was first made as the majority of fans had already seen the warning signs were there way before it seems the powers that be had! Exactly the same happening now. Is the same thing happening right now, the board are really burying their in the sands & either thinking things will change for the better when it doesnt appear it will, or they really dont have a realistic plan B & dont want to change things with no alternatives in mind. Either way, times pushing on & things dont look bright for the fast approaching winter months. Delayed decision making has proved costly for us in past seasons, theres being loyal and patient which in short measure is a good quality to exhibit, but patience is something that's fast running out amongst Stokies right now.

Best wishes to those who traveled; you deserve better. There wasn't a single player on the pitch today that identified with the club, the area, or its fans. No-one played for the team or the shirt. So if they can't be arsed, neither can I.The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. Stoke lost again today, and, dya know what, after 55 years of supporting, I really couldn't give a f**k. Spot on. I feel exactly the same. Where Stoke City football club are concerned I am comfortably numb. But in my case it is 56 years. Hello? Hello? Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home?

This thread is headed 'time for the fans to act' - unfortunately it seems that nobody has come up with any practical, legal suggestion of what that ACT-ion could/should be. There's been many posts over the immediate past covering this proposal but all have foundered because the one thing that would scramble the management's brains would be half-empty ground (ie vote with your feet) and few countenance doing this. Mention was made of how seemingly Rowett was put under the Scholes spotlight and eventually went. Maybe 15,000 letters to the club would grab their attention - it only takes every supporter to drop TS a line. Most companies react if their product is not selling due to people not buying it or thinking it bad value for money - it hits their 'bottom line'. What's different about what SCFC is selling to the fans? It's second-rate, inconsistent, painful on the eye and not worth the purchase price - use your customer clout - what have you to lose?

The demise of our club is criminal negligence by our board and as many allude to including former players a certain tony scholes has played a huge part in that. Yet we the fans give him no pressure at all, i honestly feel w the fans need to give him a prolonged period of scholes out chants banners etc. And not just a 5minute chant at the next match but repeated chants for him to be sacked for however many games it takes for the board to get the message that we want scholes out for his part in our demise.
Our apathy is allowing him to hide his failures and sack manager after manager.
SCHOLES OUT.
