Maybe this is what Tone meant about "managing expectations'....play shit for so long that 2 wins in a season makes us all jizz Joking aside, great result. Was worried our last win came at the wrong time as it were (international break so could fuck up any momentum/confidence) but last 2 games have been poles apart from everything else the last year or so, even just in terms of fight, giving a shit and PROFESSIONALISM. A word that has (justifiably) been too infrequently used in recent times when referring to our showings on the pitch. Well done lads, well done Nath. Nice to feel proud of our team again...let's just make sure that lasts! Weird to think that the inspiration for all this (just in my opinion) has come from the king of ‘couldn’t give a shit’, Badou Ndiaye. Who’da thunk it?

Christ almighty. He's a mentalist. That was my opinion when I saw him today. I said to the bloke next to me.. He's insane! Of cause he is insane, what is it that's on a sign above the door, you don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps.

Christ almighty. He's a mentalist. Considering he's a manager with one of the wankest records ever as Stoke boss, I can't help but like him, and for all the shit I've given him (and rightly so) over the last twelve months, I really hope he's on the way to turning this mess around. I'm off to Millwall next week and if we win there and he's on the pitch giving it the big un, I make no bones in the fact that I'll be giving it the big un with him

I reacted exactly the same 2 weeks ago after we'd beaten Swansea. The cashiers in Tesco thought I was fucking nuts. Gouranga.

How anyone can turn there nose up at this is mad. Its not a celebration of we are a great side, we are going up. Just sheer relief from a man and fan base who have hopefully turned a corner. Up the boys It shows he has zero humility. It’s absolutely cringey. The only thing that’s cringey is grown men using the word cringey.

There was a point in the game where they cut through us on the left side of the box and looked like a simple cut back for a goal. I think it was Vickers who came storming back for the interception and corner. Knew we were going to win after that, just hasn't been happening in previous week's

We were the same at Swansea, it does feel like he’s developing that desire in the group. If we can get 4 from the next two I’m happy to say a corner has been turned.

It’s just bizarre, I’ve been giving him shit for months, and I can’t decide if I like him or not, but yesterday I just couldn’t leave at the end - I stood watching and clapping trying to make sense of the whole surreal situation, I was genuinely amazed at the reaction of both NJ and the crowd. Being bottom 3 is nothing to celebrate / beat your chest about but yesterday felt a bit like one of ‘those’ moments, a bit like the Man City roar.
I just hope this is the beginning of a reconnection between us and the team / manager.

You have to worry about the blokes state of mind if he stays in football management long term - it’s all a bit OTT. That was my immediate reaction. If I was club management I would be deeply concerned about his behaviour patterns

No. Relief you’ve won your first home game in 6 months should not be expressed like that and then lapped up. It’s an absolutely pathetic record.

No words for you bayern. No words. It was pathetic but people lap it up and he knows that. Whilst I completely disagree with it being pathetic, or any notion of having a pop at the bloke for showing passion and enthusiasm for our club. So what if he knows people lap it up, he is getting the crowd going, the entire club roaring behind him and the team, it can only be a good thing. If it is that it is something he always does through emotion or calculation, I couldn't give a flying fuck, he's got the Boothen roaring again, and that can only be good for this club, stop being so bloody dull.

He's a bloke who wears his heart on his sleeve, did it at Luton, is doing it here, it's his character. There is absolutely frig all wrong with someone who displays their emotions. Please can we all STOP bringing mental health into it!

It reminded me of when people were singing “Michael Owen City’s #10”. It just felt wrong. I don’t like that sort of thing from managers anyway but when it’s a bloke who shouldn’t even be there then absolutely he’s not going to get any change from me. Sorry.

Very good to see. He's a very likeable mentalist. Its amazing how the crowd havent turned on him this season.
His record is worse than Alan Ball's but I really want the bloke to succeed.
Especially if it annoys Bayern, then its an added bonus for me
