Horses are my thing on Sat afternoon, even though I couldn't pick my nose. Sometimes catch the end of a game on Morley Common though. Played on there many a time on the wing for a couple of teams. I was playing one Saturday, and there was a girl showing best part of all of her knickers lay down just on the edge of the touchline. Put me right of my game. Still picture it now!

Typical watch my local non league team week in week out And national non league day what have they done contrived not to have a game
I suppose grudgingly I have to accept that Halesowen were good in the previous round
Well I suppose it’s find a stray dog and keep it company on a touchline somewhere and watch a bit of pub football

If we keep Jones, give it three seasons and we can have a non league day every weekend!

My game was worth watching too, 1 all. An added bonus was that I met another Stoke season ticket holder, so we had a good chat about Stoke as well

I'm off to Exeter vs FGR 😁 Neither Exeter or FGR(the fact that you abbreviated it nauseates me🤮) are Non-League. Saw Jacobs Ladder with Tim Robbins in Exeter when I lived down there.

Good to hear! Walford been at leek for a few seasons now since he was at Vale. Didn't realise Porter went on loan to Leek until today Hope Leek do well, giving young players a chance! Surprised Twyford isn't getting a lot of action lately he was doing well for them in pre season and early games

I live in Telford so I’m down there quite frequently, such a good stadium for a non league team. Love to have known where they’d been if they hadn’t gone bankrupt. Nothing to do with football that bankruptcy either.

Someone told me they thought Telford had made a big mistake a few years ago by not taking the chance to move into Telford itself, where the main population centre is, but staying put at the Bucks Head in Wellington for historical reasons because they were once Wellington Town or United, and that had they moved, the gates would be quite a lot bigger. I don't know if you think that's right ?

I don't know if you think that's right ? Can’t say I do at this point, but have heard it said repeatedly. To move somewhere else would’ve cost a fortune and it was only by minor miracle the club got off the ground to start with. The attendance problem is mainly due to being far too close the Shrewsbury, wolves, brum , Villa Walsall etc. Way too oversaturated.

A mate of mine watches Warrington Town, and saw them at home against F.C. United in a league match. He said they didn't seem anything special in the first half, but played really well in the second. They hammered Buxton yesterday 7-0. A friend of his has been to the F.C. ground, and said it was quite impressive, so he could be going when Warrington play them away nearer to Christmas. Warrington knocked F.C. out of the F.A. Cup at their ground, but were beaten by Bracknell in the next 2-0. We pass by the F.C. United ground when putting flowers on my wife's father's grave in Moston cemetary. It does look quite impressive!
