I'm not talking about gigs you've been, well, you might have been there aswell! But I'm more interested in some classic live gigs that can be viewed on Youtube. For example I give you this brilliant Green Day set from Woodstock 1994. The tone is set right from the off, by 5 minutes in you can tell how it's going to end, by 20-odd minutes it's full blown carnage... Great gig though, feel sorry for whoever had to follow them!

Great short set but Jimmy Chamberlin's drumming on 'Silver***k' simply shreds,

Another incredible Pink Pop performance, from two years before the one above.
And to put it in to context, just six months earlier, they'd been playing to a 100 people in a pub in Southend!
The greatest stage dive ever?

The greatest stage dive ever? "Ten" is still a fucking quality album even now! One of those albums i still always insist on having a copy of in my car (i'm too old for all that MP3/spotify shit )

Unannounced 'secret' show at Glastonbury this year, undoubtedly the biggest crowd the Park Stage has ever seen ... is there a better UK live band out there at the moment?

Led Zeppelin - Four beasts!!!... Greatest hard rock band ever! 1973 concert. John Bonham and John Paul Jones are just immense here on Black Dog, what an utterly insane groove!?

This is one I keep finding myself going back to at the moment. Jaco is other-worldy as always, but the other musicians are incredible as well

I wanted to see these in the seventies when I wore my copy of Crime of the Century (which turned out to be quite prophetic) thin through playing it so many times, finally saw them at the Albert Hall in 97, fantastic gig.
This is from somewhere else but I love the track.

New (ish) on the block but the way this bloke whips up a crowd baffles me. Doing big things on his own without a record label and playing to crowds of this size.

You've lost me I'm afraid, I'm not sure whether you're being sarcastic, obscure or it's just me being thick. In the back of my mind I remember some interaction with yourself regarding a model of car that I've never heard of but apparently the rest of the world has. If that wasn't you I apologise wholeheartedly but either way I don't think we should ruin this thread any more than we already have
