I was born not far away in Kidsgrove but moved to Australia as a baby in 1966. All my Dad ever spoke about was Stoke City Football Club and Stanley Matthews. I was brought up with Stoke so it was natural that I became a Stoke supporter.

A parent who has an immense passion for the club and it's star player, a gateway drug if there ever was one.
