Come on lads we've just beat top of the league, best performance in over a year in my opinion - yet still some 'fans' are still negative about the club. We've got a sound manager, he does care for the club and he has done good things behind the scenes which we have to appreciate. Just support the boys when they need us most, this is something to build on.

The thing I noticed about yesterday, is Swansea's support......
Where ours is dwindling at home, and struggling to muster up any kind of atmosphere!!!
I thought, wouldn't it be good if we could attract some support back, and REALLY start to give it a "bear pit atmosphere".....and maybe be that extra man again!!!
It's difficult under the circumstances, I know, but it would help towards hauling ourselves away from the danger zone!!!

If we keep those up for the next 3 or 4 games then the 12th man will start to gather again.

Too many simplistic assertions on here to the effect that, if we still want Jones to go, then we didn't enjoy yesterday's win. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face yesterday, but the win changes nothing regarding Jones. His overall record here is horrendous.

Was the Swansea support impressive then? 16k seemed rather paltry, in numbers at least, for top of the Championship. As for our support as and if the grim reaper gets closer and closer I think that will galvanise us in to some noisy backing for the team!

I think our support has been excellent this season both in numbers and the way they've been behind the team given the circumstances. There's been relatively little booing and general negativity and the atmosphere has generally started well in most games. You can't just cheer blindly forever though and the nature of our terrible performances and results has caused the atmosphere to drop off in most games. But even then, given the circumstances, I think our support has been remarkably tolerant and supportive.

The last home game I went to was Notts Forest and the support was nothing short of brilliant all things considered. It never has been about the support dropping off at all. Numbers have slid a little understandably but vocally they’ve been backed remarkably. I think the Fulham game could well be the best atmosphere this season.

I wasn't there......I suppose I'm only going off the radio Gods!!! They were saying the stadium was pretty full all around the ground, which at the time made me feel a little envious, and the atmosphere was pretty decent....helped on of course by our fans!!! But I was thinking more about our home games, where the atmosphere is somewhat subdued compared to away games!!! Then I got too thinking, wouldn't it be good if we could recreate that special atmosphere we had in our first season in the Prem, to help shift us out the bottom three!!!

I don't know why people view this "negative" thing as not being supportive, if anything it's more supportive to want your club to make changes rather than happy clap our way into league 1. It's totally fine to sit there and clap and act like everythings fine, but once you voice your opinion that there's issues (which i am aware is NEGATIVE) then people get on your back and start telling you to shut up or call you stupid. It's depressing honestly.

It's depressing honestly. Precisely. Being 'negative' is pointlessly fixating on small negatives when the overall picture is positive. Like in the early Premier League days when we were doing well under Pulis and you'd get people moaning that 'we hoof the ball too much and don't score enough goals' etc. Pointing out the obvious problems and suggesting solutions in this obviously overwhelmingly negative situation we're in now isn't being negative, it's being pragmatic and is actually being supportive because we're trying to help the club move forward and improve. I personally think Jones still needs the sack. I think the Swansea result was a bit of a fluke based on our players being shamed into pulling their fingers out and Jones finally stumbling on a system that sort of works at about the 15th attempt. And finally dropping McLean at left back which was his own mistake in the first place. I'd love to be proven wrong because I like Jones' enthusiasm and want him to succeed. But I think the evidence thus far suggests that he won't succeed and this result will turn out to be an exception to the rule in the long term so we're better off cutting our losses now and appointing someone with more experience at this level and a track record of successful crisis management.

The support for Jones and his teams has been nothing short of fantastic given the absolute shite they have regularly served up.
Support is not the problem.

The support has been excellent with Jones and I 100% agree with you on that. Just want people to get with them for the next game against Fulham.

If we'd sung 'Nathan Jones, you're football is shit' for 2 or 3 games he would have been out within days, and certainly well before Swansea.

Let's wait to see if we lose next game, then everything shit again.Never seen such fickle supporters in my lifetime Being proud that your team has just shown some fight and desire for the badge and ultimately winning a game is not being fickle. Jones has been shit - at least his results have, but after that game it's clear to see that the players are with him. If you like Jones or not you may as well support him - and not order him out after one of our best performances in the last few years (not saying you have done). People are just happy that we looked good in that game. Just because you support the team doesn't mean you have to like Jones.
