Has there (is there) been a better example of a professional footballer in the Premier League. An outstanding record of over 500 EPL appearances.
Surely a role model for any aspiring young footballer

Gary Neville?
Just checked - only 400 appearances.
Milner just does his job, whatever it is. As you say, a top pro.
Part of the Man City evolution as a dominant force and now as captain of Liverpool doin te same again. Was a top class pro for England too.

Great pro but 500 games with 5 clubs.
Ryan Shawcross has close to 400 Prem games with 1 club.

Giggs as a footballer perhaps not so much as a brother though.

Giggs as a footballer perhaps not so much as a brother though. Yeah, I always quite liked the aura of Giggs back in the day, quality footballer and all that, but that malarkey with his brother is utterly shameful. I mean how could you, over a period of a number of years as well. Just no. Can't bear to listen to him nowadays. Wanker.

Has had to play nearly everywhere on the pitch over the years. Scored all types of goals and had assists . Over 100 games for England (under 21s and full team). Mr Dependable

Surely a role model for any aspiring young footballer Gareth Barry is another one who in my opinion is underrated. Neither quite gerrard/lampard but stalwarts. I’ve never rated either highly but let’s be fair they are worthy of repute

He's came on and saved Liverpool a few times last season too. He's a great role model, fantastic footballer, can't hate the bloke if I wanted to.

Joking aside he's just what this team needs.Leads by example, phenomenal work rate, perfect role model. With the exception of Ryan a million miles away from anything we've got. I'd have him at Stoke in a heartbeat.

Even when on the cusp of a relatively amusing comment, you go and fuck it up talking nonsense... Out of your wildest dreams you pluck Wijnaldum and Origi from that Liverpool squad? And your fantasy woman, as of 2019, is Kelly Brook? Spend less time on here and more time outside...

Only just seen this post as have been travelling. But I'm positive that I was stood behind Milner waiting to board the 10.15pm Emirates to Dubai plane on Saturday. He looked like an 18 year old aspiring footballer, everything nike including the cap, tight fitting gear and he did look very fit (no not like that😗) He was with another guy,who I didn't recognise. Hmmm....That's all really.
