Completely agree. We had a bit more pace on the flanks and much more urgency. Have we at last stumbled on THE team? Proper left back and left winger and we're there for me. .... we’ve go a left winger, but let him go on loan to Bolton

The board will be cashing in on these two in January, make no mistake.

A little hero worship for both of them may give us a chance if keeping them. Assuming today was not a one-off.

These two are superb together. No one else in the league has players like that in their midfield.
Keep that midfield from today together and we'll go on a run

Completely agree. Badou brings the fight and aggresssion, Etebo drives it forward. Wonderful pairing. They are. What I particularly like is that Badou also drives it forward and Etebo also has fight. Neither are one trick ponies Heartbeat of the side

It only takes one or two in the team to show and lead the way and the rest tend to follow.

We also look far more balanced without the show pony Ince and ineffective McClean We should play the same side that finished the match in my opinion Bit harsh on McLean there, mate. He's not a left back that's for sure, but he always, always puts a shift in, and in a team that's [been so ineffective so far this season, he stands out. Ince...can't make my mind up about him. He promises a lot, and has lot to offer, but I'm not convinced wants to play for us.Fully agree tat today's team should be first choice from now on, opposition regardless.

Badou was outstanding. Thought his performance dwarfed Etebo's performance in this game.

Really it’s designed for a holding midfielder, 2 central midfielders and an attacking one. I’m my opinion we should have defenders that can first and foremost defend, and Indi is far superior. I agree it’s not his fault Jones has put him there, however if today’s performance is anything to go by we are stronger without him. Respect your opinion however

Badou is leagues above anything else in our squad or this league. The best midfielder we’ve had since nzonzi! Absolutely awesome today the energy and drive was brilliant! All the midfield today were superb clucas and Allen included.

Brilliant as was Allen and Clucas. Allen absolutely got stuck into everything and broke with energy. Not only that, Allen showed composure, confidence and a certain swagger. Where’s that been? Awesome today Joe.

At this rate we're going to have a hard time keeping hold of these two in january.
imo we have the best midfield in the league with Allen/Etebo/Badou/Clucas.
Allen seems like he's had a new lease of life playing with etebo and badou.

It's not harsh on mcclean mate. He's utter fucking shit and sums up why we are where we are. I could do a better job at left back than him. We looked so much better without him and Ince. If we had two good full backs now, and a proper striker, that would be a very good side. If only Jones could spot a player, his recruitment last summer is still going to do for him. The one achievement for Jones is getting badou playing for us, that's what has got him his win today.

All we need now is a manager capable of getting the best out of them every game, or even a manager who just plays them.
If Jones stays I bet they're both dropped next week so Ince and McClean can get a game.

Badou's playing for a January move and fair play to him if he continues to play to the standard he's set he fully deserves that move. If only Wimmer and Imbula had the same pride.

Saw on Twitter that when we scored the winner, Badou ran to the touchline and lifted Jones in the air in celebration?
Fucking love it.

I never would have imagined, even among the catalog of the unimaginable we have suffered that Badou would show such character & leadership for us this season, he is a million miles from the mardarse at Leeds when we last saw him.
Credit where it is due, he has really stepped up & is a fantastic player.
Etebo has everything apart from a final ball for me, his drive & aggression coupled with technical quality are as good as you will see at this level.
If there are a better pair in this league i haven't seen them.
With a mix of Allen, Powell & Clucas for the other 2 positions ( based on today's evidence alone ) there wont be many if any in this division that can match us, in that department at least.
