I would like to start by offering my deepest gratitude for what you have put into our club. Despite disagreements and fall-outs with our fanbase on a range of issues (most notably, the move from the Victoria ground) what is abundantly clear is that you want the best for the people of Stoke-on-Trent, and what's best for our team, Stoke City Football Club, and your contribution to making us a club that other clubs aspire to be in many ways, such as the magnificent gesture to offer our fans free travel to away games for many seasons now (an offer I have never been unable to take advantage of due to being exiled in South Wales from a young age) and the business you bring to our down and out community through keeping bet365 in Stoke-on-Trent.
I have written this today to make you aware (if you were not already) of the deep unrest of our fans regarding issues on and off the pitch, chiefly the grave concern shared by a significant majority of our fanbase for our league form since the hiring of Nathan Jones, and the lack of a clear pathway shown to us with transparency for the path forwards, particularly with regards to player recruitement.
To further elaborate on my first point - Since the hiring of Nathan Jones, we have regressed further backwards, performances AND results have left a lot to be desired, despite being given more than adequate public and I'm assuming financial backing, as well as more time as both of his immediate predecessors, and now it seems that the club is hesitant to come out and explain any decision on what the future holds. I personally believe it is time for the club to make a change in the management of the first team, as over Nathan Jones employment, standards on the pitch have regressed at an alarming rate. I understand that last season that he worked with a mess that wasn't of his own making, but his attempts to rectifying those mistakes made in the past has made the situation even worse, and that it is my opinion (shared by many fellow supporters I suspect) that Mr Jones is ill-equipped to manage at this level. However, whatever your decision is, it needs to be made quickly or it risks a decrease in morale for all involved in and around the club, namely the supporters, the staff (playing and non-playing, and Mr Jones himself) which leads into my second point - if you are inclined to agree with me re. Mr Jones, it is surely the kindest thing to do to let him go immediately so as to minimise any further damage to Mr Jones mental and physical well-being, as well as his professional pride. You are a man of the utmost integrity, and I for one would be very disappointed if your actions do not live up to the high standards you have set yourself and as witnessed by your previous deeds.
I would welcome any further correspondence to any comment you may have on the above.
Regards
Robstokie, a very concerned supporter.

What are you asking for? Him to sack NJ? Which is already happening... I'm asking for more transparency and for the club to take ownership of the situation. All the press reports are creating an uncertainty around this club, which could be laid to rest by the club coming out and stating their decision.

I'm all for people venting their frustrations about the club on club related sites but it's when you put it in the form of a letter to the chairman without actually sending it to the chairman that I can't really get behind
