Glen Johnson's lasting memory is that shite quick free kick in a goal scoring position which went out for a goal kick with Shaqiri standing next to him.

Berahinho can just get lost as far as I am concerned. A total and utter waste of space. He got a good deal out of Stoke and although I am critical of the clubs hierarchy I don't think they did much wrong as far as Berahinho is concerned in terms of giving him a chance. I just wish there had been a way to get rid of him earlier.

He's a fucking prick (Berahino that is)
1) Saido, why is it funny that Johnson said what he did just because you had respect for him? It doesn't mean that if you act like a cock during your time here, that he for no reason automatically has to have respect for you, you bellend!
2) Why in god's name should anyone (footballer or not) NEED to tell you that your behaviour here (not turning up for training, not turning up for games while with the kiddies, drink driving, hippy crack etc) was not acceptable? You're a grown man you fuckwit, you shouldn't need telling and shouldn't need the basics of having respect for your employers and colleagues to be force fed to you.
3) Stop playing the victim dipshit...."going through a tough time at Stoke". YOU made your time here tough by being a workshy, up his own arse, entitled, lazy prick who seems to think he's above the rules everyone else has to follow.
I geneuinely hoped (for his sake, as there is talent in there somewhere), that this 46th chance people had handed him may make him look back, reflect on what a fucking waster he's been and make him wake up and realise it's up to HIM to sort his career out, not up to everyone else to allow him to do what he wants and then keep giving him yet another "last chance". Obviously that hasn't happened and he's still playing the "poor little me" card.
Arrogant, delusional prick who thinks he's owed something by the world and it's never his fault. The bloke's a fucking cunt

People pissing their knickers over this, laughable really as both players aren't worth the effort.
The article reads that Saido respects Glenn and wonders why he waited until he was on the radio to say something. Seems pretty fair to me, given that the likes of Johnson and fat boy Adam were supposed to be the 'good British pros' in the dressing room.
They are all a bunch of wankers.

I agree that none of this is a defense for Berahino, I had zero time for his bleating before, and this has done nothing to change it.
The thing that disappoints me (If true, and its a big if!), is that although Berahinio had no right whatsoever to expect someone to help him out by telling him that it may be a good idea for his career to turn up for training, I and all the other Stoke fans had every right to expect Johnson, and all of the other senior pros, to have done precisely that, and been well and truly on his case!
If this article has any basis in fact, then it doesn't excuse Berahino's behaviour in any way, but it does damage Johnson, and adds support to the view that that dressing room was massively poorer for no longer having the likes of Whelan, Walters and Huth.
Again, the victims of this alleged lack of "professional feedback" are the people who pay their money through the turntiles.

This lad was playing for a Premier league club on tens of thousands of pounds per week with access to medics, sports psychologists and psychotherapists to help him with his problems but instead chose to dick about, have a chaotic personal life and have a shocking attitude in general on and off the pitch
The responsibility sits with Saido but here he is again suggesting someone else failed him - what a personality disordered wastrel

It was never Johnson's job to sort out Berahino. It was the lousy management who kept letting him get away with murder. Hughes has a lot to answer for that took place in the last 2 years he was here.

Berahino said the other week that his failed move to Spurs ruined him, this came shortly after the capped one was interviewed on Television and he said that the spurs deal affected Berahino, surprising how Bera trots out this bullshit now, He watched Pulis and saw a way of justifying his total lack of effort and pisstake at Stoke . He really is thicker than clotted cream.

Agreed. Pulis got the measure of this fucker so again it raises concerns over our recruitment policy at that time. It doesnt seem to have improved either but at least they are free these days

Johnson at least had the discipline to meet the basic contractual requirements of a footballer. The other character just took the piss out of every single last one of us. Would be rather happy to hear Saido had snapped both his ACL's in his next game to be honest. He's a total scum bag.

Do we really give a flying fuck what Saido Berahino thinks ... about anything, actually? Not really no. But I think a lot of Stoke fans are fuming over this one because a lot of Stoke fans like me were really hoping beyond hope that we would be the ones to finally sort his head out. I gave him chance after chance up until the point I realised he is just taking the piss out of hard working fans who spend a massive %age of their disposal income to allow him to go drink driving in his 100k sports cars. I hate the little piece of shit. Hope he has a miserable life because with his wallowing in self pity that is exactly what he is going to have. He'll be waking up in a bedsit in 5 years from now potless and a burden on society, mark my words.
