When you're filling your fat face with every different kind of cake, which one's the fave? I was sitting outside in the rain yesterday at the Rambler's Retreat at Dimmingsdale and as a change to their magnificent Lemon meringue I thought I'd try the Famous bread and butter pudding with custard, and it was just delicious. Wright's vanilla slices hit all the right spots as well

Rather spoilt for choice with a great bakery here in Tywyn. They make everything themselves but the two winners are the chocolate brownies and mini lemon cream tarts. 🍪🍰

I'm not normally a dessert man, but do like a Tiramisu.
For a pudding, Apple pie and custard or home made rice pudding

There's so much good cake, I couldn't narrow it down, though it does vary a lot by establishment. When done well, bread and butter pudding is a good one. The most recent great cake I've eaten is Battenberg. My mum makes a great lemon cheesecake. I love a good layered chocolate cake. Sometimes I mix the layers together, add a bit of milk and heat them for a few seconds in the microwave. Delicious.

Apple turnover but absolutely must have fresh cream as well as the apple inside.
I was going to mention that I’m quite partial to a cream horn too but probably best to keep that quiet on here 😉

I prefer a a nice starter then main usually, but when having a dessert I often end up having a warm chocolate fudge cake with whipped cream.

Bloody good waves for surfing though. 🌊

Lemon meringue with a digestive biscuit base, my Nan used to make it haven’t had it bettered yet. My waistline will prove I have looked hard and have found many acceptable substitutes but it’s still on a pedestal

I was going to mention that I’m quite partial to a cream horn too but probably best to keep that quiet on here 😉 I can help here, I did a bit of research about 3 years ago, tried apple turnovers from most of the big stores, Morrisons were the best, and you get 2 packs of 2 for 2 quid. The raspberry ones are pretty good too. I was a bit addicted to them at one point, thankfully it's a bit too much effort to get to Morrisons nowadays

Not really bothered about puddings or desserts. The only exceptions are Bakewell Tart with custard, and Carrot Cake.

Conner beat a nice scone with shitloads of jam and fresh cream in. Or a custardy Creme brûlée with some chewy, caramelised sugar on top. Drooooool.

They do a decent one over at Tittesworth Harry you can be tucking in while the boys amuse themselves in the playground Jam both sides and a huge amount of cream in the middle. Refrigerated so you can slice through with a knife and away you go
