I sense an inconceivabley large pizza coming on,that or a Doner kebab. 🙂🍕⚽️ A-ha!! It's pizzas in the stokief house this evening!! Nice big tomato and basil mozarella salad and juicy garlic baguette on the side and a humungously large glass (or 3 ) of the old vino tinto!!!! Happy Saturday!

Oh lordy, I can't take these victories. Thanks for getting me home, Stokief. I'll return the wheelbarrow next time I'm in the bar.
Was I dancing on the tables again? All damages will be paid for, of course.
I'd just like to know who wrote "no tools left inside overnight" on my boxers. Or, more specifically, Mrs Q would like to know who did it and how come the handwriting was so neat.

Well here we go again with Michael O'Neill's Stoke City :)facing Caarrdiff without Oulare's backside to help out! I'll mix a Megga Gregga in advance of Lee's first goal for us this evening ;)and send out positive thoughts and vibes to the lads! GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN YOU MIGHTY POTTERRRSSS! Now, Mr Q, the dancing was indeed a rare and rum sight! The leap like a drunken salmon from the bar on to the table was followed by a surprisingly Madonna-esque 'Vogue' that merged into the 'Hustle' and was completed with a rendition of the 'Birdie song'. You then launched yourself into the wheelbarrow, flinging the door open as you flew through it and carried on down the road with a blue flashing light attached to your Stetson!. AS for your boxers I fear that this may be the work of Mrs Q in a revenge attack. However, I did also find your embarrassingly, non-forgiving Lycra cycling shirt with the words emblazoned " My other one fits me" on the dog! This has almost managed to eclipse some of Staffsoatcake's antics of the past Remember, if you drink, do it responsibly. Get more than one when you first go the bar. Conserve your energy!

Oh well. Getting a bit predictable. Couple of nice wins to wet the whistle and then thumping back down to Earth with a bang. This is where we'll see if O'Neill and the team can break the hoodoo and pick us all up. I was desperate for at least a point but hey ho. Results around us also bad for our plight. I'll take my glass of red, shut off the lights and lock up for the evening. Mick and Billy'd better start reading their sports psychology notes and also maybe how to break spells. A raindance or summat? Onwards and hopefully upwards. After all, 'tis only a game of football.

There's always someone who's sober and remembers all the gory details, isn't there? Vogue? Bloody Vogue? Christ, I really must have been hammered. All the rest seems fairly normal, though. Apart from the lycra shirt. It's normally only at the racecourse that I lose my shirt. Trousers yes, on many occasions, but a man without his shirt is uncouth and uncalled for. I apologise to all concerned.
Don't think I was quite the life and soul last night. The Brains SA seemed lifeless and as for the lava bread. Yuck.
On Saturday I shall be having a pint two pints (thanks for the advice!) of Thwaites' Lancaster Bomber and some butter pie with pickled red cabbage please, mine host.
Not sure about what will happen on Saturday neet yet, all depends on our result I suppose. I'll look forward to a win and somebody telling me what I got up to on Sunday.

And here we go again! I'm a bit deflated I must say as I was hoping for at least a point V Cardiff to break the two-win then lose hoodoo ! Oh well, Let's see if we can get back on track today. Results aren't going for us elsewhere either and sometimes that is as vital as the wins you get yourself when you're in the doldrums and lower depths. So, let's hope it's onwards and upwards for Michael O'Neill's Stoke City Right, looks like the cocktail will have to be an Okie Dokie Voksey Stokie GOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNN YOU MIGHTY POTTERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!
