Miggy, South East Leeds. Was on the York -> Leeds train yesterday morning on route to Halifax, standing up. Chap sitting in front of me was watching the Norwich v Villa game on his phone. He turned back to the home screen & there was the Stoke logo. Good on 'eeem. Didn't want bother him to say hello as the train was a bit full & everyone around me jostling & steaming a bit from the rain.

Bishop Monkton - North of Harrogate & South Of Ripon. We live on the coast to coast cycle route and a couple of years ago a bunch of Stokies stopped at the top of our drive due to a flat tyre. This is basically in the middle of nowhere and there I was (a season ticket holder at the time) complete with a Boothen End turnstile & home dug out seats from the Vic. Unbelievable! But not as unbelievable as a couple of months later, queing up for some Harry Potter ride at Universal Florida when I spotted a Stoke shirt in the queue. We got talking and asked each where we were from and he said 'I know exactly where you live - In a village in North Yorkshire. I had a flat tyre outside your house a couple of months ago!'
There's a few Stokies round here in the Ripon area. Maybe a Yorkshire Stokie Branch!
We Are Stoke!

Dad took him to near-ish Burnley against Stoke and he started following and then regularly going down to meet lads from the Woore area who he'd met on holiday. Funnily enough, my older son is a Burnley fan! And wife and all the in-laws are Leeds!

Used for the filming of Michael Palin's Ripping Yarns, Barnstoneworth United, "8 bloody 1!" The signed shirt is in the club bar. Juniors play all over as there are that many teams!
