He's a real handful at U23 level because he uses his physique to bully younger players. At a senior level he really struggles sadly, his loan spell at Shrewsbury last season showed this. Its all about goals with strikers and i thought he got a few at shrewsbury where most opposition centre halves are not that soft.Harry Kane's development path probably has similar assessments, especially about pace .

He has a better chance if he holds the ball up or lays it off to his imaginary partner.

I think his imaginary partner should be the first name on the team sheet. Picked by the new manager next week! Its gone past the point of it being worth justifying a new manager onto the point of trying to fathom why the old one is still here. Every game we are saying 'a loss and he has to go", and we lose, and he doesn't go (Or draw and it's not even worth discussing). So... Tonight, we lose and he's gone right? Or no

Of all the problems we have, I find it odd that some people choose to stick the boot into a young lad who's played about an hour's league football this season. Who's sticking the boot in, people are just giving an opinion on what they've seen of him.

Who's sticking the boot in, people are just giving an opinion on what they've seen of him. We're second bottom, he's played virtually no league minutes and there's still a thread about him being lazy and not very good. It just seems a bit pointless when there's so much else wrong. If he gets a run of games and doesn't play well then fair enough but what are people expecting him to do in 5 and 10 minute spells, usually when we're behind? He made a 60 yard run and won a corner after his shot was deflected which showed attacking flair than anyone else showed in the whole game.

This fella is seen by some as the 'messiah', 'answer to all our prayers' and, right under our noses, blah blah blah etc. ummmmmm yeah riiiiight.. mind you, His dad thinks he's really good. Me Id actually play him tonight. If he rattles in a hatrick then, There is a case for debate. [Me ? Another 'nearly man' as far as I am concerned.

Some people seem to be willing him to fail. When they say they hope they are wrong about him I don't believe them.

You honestly believe that a Stoke fan doesn't want a young striker to be successful with us? They are simply posting what they see when he plays, myself included and believe you me,I want him to succeed.

Unfortunately for Campbell thats how it works, when your chance comes you have to take it and so far he hasn't and hasn't looked likely too, I can't say much about the Leeds cup game which sounded very good for him but from the league games he's played in its shown he has a lot to learn, you mention the shot, thats all he's done, its not enough, personally I'm expecting him to show something and at least get stuck in but he hasn't even done that and surely it should be better for him if we're behind as we're set up to attack trying to get back in it.
