All this I need two players for every position and Badou and Indi means Jones can never have a happy squad. There will always be issues. Better to have a closely knit team rather than trying to man manage 25 plus players. Clearly Davies has kicked off. Watching the players arrive before matches I’ve yet to see woods smile and Ince has a face like a smacked arse. Only Collins seems bubbly. Vokes always smiles. The rest seem sad gits. McClean wouldn’t sign an autograph as it pictured him in a Sunderland shirt !! (Tit) . Think they need a Nello session to cheer them up .

Having a squad of 22 isn't overly big.
We lose lots of games, they're not going to be happy are they?

I think you are spot on mate squad far to big never play a settled side.I would fuck the diamond off to and play 442 or 433.time to attack not sit back. I think we would have beaten bristol Saturday playing an attacking game.we always sit back after going a goal up

Bayern the point is it’s not a squad of 22 it’s a squad of 27 not to mention 8 on loan. That’s far too many to manage and keep happy. Can only lead to issues. I omitted Indi in my first post as he’s always pleasant and cheerful. The rest seem introverted and don’t engage. In Hughes day watching them arrive before matches painted a picture of a holiday camp which it was . Players on mobile phones glued to their ears. All the managers have stated there were issues- mainly Berahino I guess- but even now he’s gone they don’t paint a picture of all being together. How can Joe Allen play every match ? When we as fans can see he’s a liability. Must cause issues in the squad .

Oh I agree re Allen and then you have Butland throwing it in every match and he gets picked again.
McClean at left back.
Woods playing well and then getting dropped.
Indi being phased out and then thrown back in.
Badou back in off the naughty step.
Collins captain one week and then nowhere the next.

Hogan scoring twice for us and then dropped, reduced to mere cameos since. Only win of the season in the Caraboa and 9 winners (or whatever the figure was) dropped for the next game

He's bought in 12 of his own. Did he seriously expect a complete churn of players? Whilst they are sat on the daft contracts we've given to players?
He's closer to it than we are, and 80% of people on here knew it was 'pie in the sky'.

Why didn't someone just say 'You can't have 12 players Nath, just choose 4 good ones instead...oh, and by the way, I'd be very grateful if you'd fall back in with the incumbent players, they are costing us a fortune'
