I have expressed my feeling about the op elsewhere - no need to repeat but also
TBH, given the circumstance, I cannot escape the conclusion
Id have him (Tony Pulis) back right now
Id love to imagine him putting a real 'fear of god' in some people there rather than, an imaginary tattooed one
Im sure he'd go through the place like a dose of salts
e.g. cut out the incompetent 'middle men' ( TS / JC) and deal direct with uncle Peter For Starters.
its hard for me to say this but, you just know damn well, he would turn this complete and utter shambles around in double quick time
its just the 'glass ceiling', 'hard wiring' his attitude to acadamy players and other limitations we know he walks about, toting.

The owners and board really do need to set up an ADVISERY PANEL of ex players and chaired by an ex manager, I don't really know who but along the lines of Lou Macari, Fuller, Lawrence and few older ambassadors we have creeping around the corridors. There's no doubt the board are lacking the football knowledge required to make the correct decisions when appointing new managers.
The main advise this panel would offer the board is
1. What formation is best suited to the majority of current players 2. A list of possible managers that are reletively successful with that formation.
Both Rowett and Jones took over teams where players were unsuited to their favoured formations, meaning huge turnover in player acquisitions, which neither did with any success and in Rowetts case at a huge cost and in Jones case with inferior players required.
