When a guy is one result from the sack its already over isnt it? Mark Hughes Watford away How different things may have been if Moyes would have come in as planned.... until we fluked that win.

What’s spinks on about.
There hasn’t been any protests, major grumblings etc due to one main thing.
Apathy.
No one can be arsed. And I don’t blame them.

Only one question needs asking:
Has Jones gone yet?

Spinks making a point of a lack of dissent from the stands as a reason he's still in the job?!... That's incredible, staggering in fact. It's a very odd statement to make isn't it? Especially the use of the word "deserve". What is it that he is suggesting, that there should be mass protests from the fans on Friday? 🤔 I have no idea anymore what the hell is going on. Like I said after the Leeds defeat at home, it's got to the point now where the fans can't even be arsed to boo or get that upset about how shit we are. That in itself should tell the board all they need to know, not to take it as a positive or a sign we're "behind the manager"

All these pathetic Q&A's - on the day the big question needed to be answered there is nothing!
Why hasn't he been sacked yet?!

All these pathetic Q&A's - on the day the big question needed to be answered there is nothing! Why hasn't he been sacked yet?! The only logical conclusion I can come to is that we're waiting for him to completely lose it and resign, forfeiting any pay off. But it seems NJ has already lost all hope and is waiting for his P45, nobody in the right mind would walk, it could easily be his last job as a football manager.

Oh not again. Do they have nothing better to do. I've managed to miss the last few, I think this one is excusable given Saturdays result. If they've got a lot of time on their hands tho they could do worse than do some much needed proofreading for the people that are paying them

What's less easy to understand is how they can label a video something like 'scenes of celebration' which leads readers to believe they're going to see fellow fans celebrating. When the video plays it's nothing of the sort! It's footage of the stadium but it doesn't show a single celebrating Stokie, the footage looks like some reporter has left his phone on accidentally and it's recording the emptying stadium for 30 seconds or so. I do find it hard to believe that there's any quality control at all at that newspaper.

Another hour of Spinks being asked straight forward questions to which he gives totaly non commital answers. Standard of local journalism is about the same as that of the team they are reporting on. Credit to Nigel Johnson for at least asking one searching question at the weekend ( ref signings ) but then failing to follow it up after a shocking answer from NJ ( i.e, yes some of your signings are playing today Nathan & if the othets arnt, why not? ).

First question: Only question in town: How on earth is Nathan still in charge? It's beyond farcical. Every single point could be critical come May. (Steve, Stoke)
Hi Steve and thanks for kicking us off. Well, it’s safe to assume that the Swansea win saved him and then the Fulham win bought him more time.
But now those back-to-back defeats at Sheff Wed and now Millwall have thrown the spotlight back on the manager, particularly the manner of Saturday’s defeat, and he knows that.
My best guess is that the owners would like to get to the next international break before having to make a decision, so that’s Albion at home and then Barnsley away before that break.
Barnsley away is a bit like Huddersfield away was, but there was only four days after the Huddersfield defeat to the next game at Swansea and that spared him, before the win at Swansea saved him.
Is there any chance Pulis would be offered the job with Scholes still at the club? (Jason, Didcot)
Put it this way Jason, if I was the owner and thought Tony Pulis was the best man for the job, I’d tell both Tonys to like it or lump it and simply get on with the bigger issue of saving Stoke City Football Club this season.
So no, I don’t think the presence of Tony Scholes would prevent Tony Pulis saying yes, nor would his arrival leave Tony Scholes asking to leave.
It’s a big club, they could easily avoid each other if they needed to, certainly in the short term.

It's absolutely bizarre.
