No logic, but my spidy senses say 0 v 2 to Stoke. God knows why. Perhaps an og or a peno or a bad ref decision, think we’ll get lucky Are you mad?

However we haven’t scored three goals in a game since Noah thought about building a boat. No we haven't. But let's just go for it. I fear we are approaching a six or seven goal hammering our defence is so disorganised.

That's me talking a load of bollox. I always think that too. Not you talking bollox, but that we'll win Satdee. Always have, always will! And you know what, I really do think we'll win. Whether it's law of averages, a bit of luck or just an odd result, I think we'll win.

The only chance we have is to out-score Brentford, which means we have to score at least two and we haven’t done that in recent memory.

Must admit, over the years I've never really fancied us away from home, but I think we're capable of beating anyone home or away in his league. Trouble with that is, so are the other 23 teams!

Strike that one off as a reason we might win... We sure are due a bit of luck and a win though.

Last week v Bristol City the defence looked organised, they didn't really get in behind us but despite that we still couldn't defeat two simple crosses. This is what concerns me re a change of manager,no matter how good an organiser you are or how defensive the tactics if players can't challenge and head the ball away we will keep shipping goals even on 'good' days As such let's just attack.

Massive game tomorrow for obvious reasons. I’m hoping against hope we turn a corner and get that vital win. I’ve been guilty in asking for this manager to be sacked but I’m also clinging on to the hope that one win, one good performance will kickstart the confidence in these underachieving players because the last thing this club needs is more upheaval.
To that end, I’m predicting a 3 -2 win to us in a Championship cracker!

I appreciate all the positivity but what had been a relatively good week is being spoiled by the impending doom of the match to come! Now I'm a born pessimist but at least, previously, I always thought we'd win the odd game but now all hope is lost! Saying that fuck it, if we start and continue as we did against Bristol we'll smash them 2-4! N'Diaye and Etebo are going to rock this league! Of course N'Diaye will leave in January just as we look like challenging for the playoffs!

2:1 to them, thanks to two 50/50 penalties. For the first, Butland dives to his right, while the ball goes straight down the middle. For the second, Butland dives to his left, while the ball goes straight down the middle. Take it to the bank. Jones says he's done a great job on the behind-the-scenes stuff, you wouldn't recognize how simply spiffing everything it these days, but he's thinking about changing his religion.

I'm really happy with the way we've been playing for 80% of the time. We look solid in possession, we rarely give the ball away, we look a real threat and we're dominating teams, especially for the first 12 minutes of games. It's just that we're making a few defensive errors when we're on top and missing a few chances as well. If we can iron out those tiny issues, we're going to give someone a real hiding one day.

Now he has Badou, Etebo & Clucas will he revert back to his diamond?. Interesting to see who plays centre half, Martin's Indi has to be one, but he can't play 2 left footers as he seems to rate Lindsay?

Interesting to see who plays centre half, Martin's Indi has to be one, but he can't play 2 left footers as he seems to rate Lindsay? I'd like to see a diamond of: Cousins or Woods N'Diaye Clucas Etebo Etebo has said before now he sees himself in a more attacking role - and he has got a shot on him and N'Diaye and Clucas offer a bit more physical presence in the middle. Woods has blown hot and cold but on his day is quite tidy and personally I don't think Cousins is anywhere near as bad as some are making out - he's unspectacular at doing an unspectacular job. Before BMI had to fill in at left back last season he was starting to form a decent partnership with Batth alongside him. Lindsay has been ok and is a real threat at set pieces so he might have a place in a back five with one up top in front of a more advanced diamond in the middle. But to be honest - I've got as much idea as anyone.

If Stoke were top of the league going into tomorrow's match you wouldn't get 7/2 for an away win which is on offer now. Odds are probabilities by the way.

The irony that this fixture was Jones’ first game in charge and could be his last if we get a pasting. 1 change for me Etebo for Allen - if we lose this surely thats it. May not all be Jones’ fault but he doesn’t help himself and if we don’t act soon it will be too late to escape relegation Nonsense. If tomorrow is his last game (regardless if we get slammed 10-0) I will come on here everyday till the end of the season to proclaim that you are a football god. But you know that's not going to happen, so I wander what the point is of posting " ...it may be his last [game]...."?

Your team for Brentford? Can only see Etebo in for Allen? He's just about bought himself another week for me. Any more widespread changes and lose, and he'd be gone Sunday morning. He has to build on this. Are you Peter Coates?
