The irony that this fixture was Jones’ first game in charge and could be his last if we get a pasting. 1 change for me Etebo for Allen - if we lose this surely thats it. May not all be Jones’ fault but he doesn’t help himself and if we don’t act soon it will be too late to escape relegation

I'll be in Liverpool on a stag, and won't give Stoke a second thought.
They'll tear us a new one.

I remember going there in January and us being 2-0 down after 15 minutes or so they play such good football and their fluidity and movement and slick passing will cut through us like a knife through butter they seem to be better at home they battered derby last home game.

I really hope it isn't rescinded so we can play our best team in the next game, unfortunately that is an 11 without Joe Allen right now! If NJ is still here, I hope not, and we are going to play the same formation as yesterday I would go for this team: ........................Butland.......................... ..........Collins.......Lindsay........Indi.............. Edwards.........................................McClean ...........Etebo.........Badou.........Clucas........... .....................Ince.....Gregory................... I'd really like to play Batth for Lindsay, but feel I can't drop him after his performance yesterday. Edwards didn't have his best game, but I'll give him 3 games to get match fit. The only way is to play games at the right level. I'll always play Collins and Batth instead of Carter-Vickers who isn't good enough in the air as a central defender in my opinion. I don't feel any of our other strikers is a better alternative than Ince, but he must be instructed to play closer to Gregory as the second striker. Ince is one of few players who has an x-factor in my opinion. Go on STOKE!

Ince is embarrassing, was on the halfway line when we were trying to put balls into the box. Not got a clue how to play the role. We had nine men

I spoken to a lot of Derby fans since their 3-0 defeat at Brentford a couple of weeks back and everyone of them said they got absolutely murdered by them and it should have been 7 or 8.They push their quick wingbacks well forward and cause teams loads of trouble at their place.I really hate to be defeatist but I see nothing other than another loss sadly

Probably the one team I hate playing against the most. When we first got promoted and we played them, it was a window into what to expect from this division. They are the very antithesis of us - they have a plan, a system, pace and goals. If they were a bigger club with a bit more cash and greater facilities they’d go up.
They’ve lost a few players but if they wanted to next week, I think they could destroy us. And I don’t take pleasure in saying that. I just think the chasm between them and us is that vast. Maybe with Etebo and N’Diaye in there we could boss the midfield a bit more but right now even that’s not giving me any confidence in us.

I like the idea of a 4-2-3-1, but I didn't know whether to opt for Campbell with (hopefully, at some stage) Powell playing behind, and playing in some clever balls for Campbell to run on too, with support from Gregory...... Or Go for Vokes as a target man, with the three behind him playing off him???
