Red card maybe, borderline in my opinion, but certainly wasn’t given for violent conduct. Red nailed on mate and an evens bet for a 4 game ban. “If a player is sent off for a professional foul (eg holding an opponent back when they're through on goal) or a second bookable offence they will be handed a one-match ban. Straight red cards for dissent will result in a two-match ban, while dangerous tackles or violent conduct will result in a three-match ban which can be raised to four or more games in extreme cases”. In what effing world was that an "extreme case" of a dangerous tackle? It was a bit reckless, in my opinion one of those which is harsh but not appeal-able. It's a run-of-the-mill red, no way on earth an extreme case.

He needs a long break so I'm relieved.

We’ll be with you every step along the way......... except if you select players I don’t like, or say things in interviews I disagree with, or buy players other than the ones I wanted, or lose, or, or,or Perhaps it’s time to mothball the old song and come up with something the fans relate to better? We'll berate you, we'll berate you every step along the way Excellent!

Yes it is a red and I can't understand appealing however even more so is the fans reaction. He's become another hat figure of the fans and at the end of the day he's been non worse than the majority. We know he is a class player but underperforming like the rest of the team. The fans are clearly disappointed at the current situation but what ever happened to the City till I did attitude? Yes, we have a lot of players that need shipping out but the same can be said for a lot of the so called supporters. I'd rather have 14000 passionate fans in the ground than an extra 11,000 meaning whinging plastic ones. Get off their backs and support your team. And exactly what do we have to be passionate about? I find it very difficult to get behind the shower of shit they turn out week in week out. Am I supposed to say, “bad luck Charlie, I am feel so sorry for you that you missed a penalty, got sent and cost us the game. Better luck next time”. Of course we get frustrated and especially after the last few seasons but the beginning of a new season should be a new dawn. There were so many negative comments before a ball was even kicked without doubt, jones is a good passionate manager who wears his heart on his sleeve, an honest hard working guy trying to do the right thing. Hes taken over a shower of shit, we all know that but he needs time to sort it out. Most fans have shown a good level of patience however, there a re large number of boo boys who will never be happy, whatever the situation at the club is.
