Is God likely to be Willing this weekend? Or is he going to be busy elsewhere. The man upstairs has 'cocked a deaf'un' to our repeated pleas so far :-( Yes,think he might turn a blind eye or even even see to it we fluke a 1-0 win, just so we stick with NJ and persist in our role as the footballing equivalent of the Flagellants of the Middle Ages...

I was thinking that he might give us a chance at the other end. If only we had a young exciting forward with pace . . . Young exciting with pace what is this wizardry you speak of, it's the work of the devil I tell ya, Nath will have none of this new fangled thinking he will stick with his tried and tested old, boring and slow You're actually suggesting Nathan Jones will line up with the same eleven that played Brum?

Saturday is a win/win in my book. Either we get a result or Jones must surely be sacked. Watershed moment 👍 I really really fucking hope so! I keep thinking we'll do a Norwich and go on a 7 game unbeaten run like they did at the start of September....then I remember we are Stoke and cry a little.

I have a horrible feeling about Saturday's game,i can't see us winning , we have lost the knack to win games, even when we take the lead in a game we always blow it and concede stupid goals.the thing is what will happen if we do lose , will he resign or will we have to wait for somebody on the board to have the balls to sack him . The board have sacked a few managers in their time; it actually takes bigger balls to stick with a manager with such a poor record as Jones and with no clear philosophy - beyond what he yaps yaps yaps about in front of the gentlemen of the local press AND the board on their weekly meetings - and no idea what his best eleven are. And yet stick with him is what they are to do.

Who knows ? does he know ? however since he has been here these are the type of players he favours signing and playing.

For me a defeat would be the last straw or a win will buy him some more time. The clock is ticking though...tick...tock...tick...tock...

We will lose, Afobe (if played) will score
SO
what on earth is there to worry about ?
might as well get used to it
we are following a set of deckchairs
1)Brightly bedecked red and white stripes 2)easily re arranged 3)and fold very easily

I don't. I was optimistic to the start of the season but when Butland dipped, Allen chased and Woods chickened out of tackles I knew it was going to be a long season. Add in we have no real FBs at the club and Ryan going down the difficulty went up. I always have a horrible feeling come matchday looking at our lineup. Barring the shocking cup win it has been awhile since the players or manager could cheer everyone up on here. I'm shocked if we win, that is how bad we are.

Maybe we should sacrifice a goat? Stuff that, play the goat at left back. Can hear Jones now... "He's not an out and out full back yet, but he has the qualities, one, good leap, two, athletic, and brave. We've converted other goats before, one at my old club has just been transferred to the holy premier League and we are confident we can convert this goat. Those Fans who get behind us now at the start of the journey will enjoy it more."

But Ashley Williams can. For an experienced player he was bizarrely inconsistent. He had some really solid games but when he was bad by Christ he was bad He's definitely susceptible to pace (so play Campbell &/or Hogan) however he's also also susceptible in the air so play Vokes as well. Think Williams would cope with Gregory quite comfortably.

Should be good for a couple if he does. We just need to put a cows arse in goal and Afobe won't hit it with a banjo. 🤔

We need to start booing before kick off and keep it going through half time to the final whistle. To give the lads a boost. Well they were cheered for 75 minutes at Charlton, even 60 minutes at Preston and 70 minutes at Brum- it made fuck all difference to their efforts. Draw your own conclusions.

Two goals conceded every game.
Not scored three goals since Cameron was prime minister.
Doesn’t look good does it?

Maybe we should sacrifice a goat? Yes a little Welsh goat. Strangely the Royal Welsh Fusiliers use goats as their regimental mascots. The Third Battalion has one called Shenkin, and the First Battalion currently have a William (Billy) Windsor, and these goats are numbered so for example I think 3 Battalion are currently on Shenkin IV.

We’ll lose, no doubt about it. I hate to see us lose as much as any of us but as far as I can see, the only way out of this nightmare is for us to loose quite a few more, PC sees sense and the Welsh Fraudster gets the chop
