Some licensed teams/players yeah, but not many. It's just a simple download of one of the popular edit option files however (I use PESUniverse) and it sorts out all the names, kits etc. It's an age old argument - they'll never get the masses buying into it because of the licencing but without the financial clout that EA has they'll never compete with FIFA on that score. Subjective as always but imo its a much superior game now it's back on form (I was FIFA from about 2014-2017) and I'll sacrifice 20 minutes of my time importing the edit file. And it did win best sports game at E3 this year.

How you finding PES 2020 mate? After playing the demo I'm considering a purchase this year, be first time I've been tempted by PES for some years. Will likely still get new Fifa but fancy the change PES looks to offer too..

Will likely still get new Fifa but fancy the change PES looks to offer too.. Its a good one this year. A bit slower, more considered gameplay, but great. You can already pick it up for around £35 and the supermarkets will have it down to to £29.99 soon if it's like previous years. I would recommend getting the edit file though for kits and names - you can fine them online easy enough.
