Really I don’t believe he will be gone before Huddersfield? When Radio Stoke asked Jones about the next game he didn’t really have an answer. Interesting haven’t heard the interview...

We will see,it seems to have been common knowledge around the club that he would be gone if we didn't win tonight. How soon do you think it would be announced if he is going? I would be amazed if he wasn't already aware, with an announcement tomorrow.

Needs fucking off. Never should've appointed him - I fucking told you so. Same with GR and PL. Who would you appoint then Depends at which point in that timeline. Desperate for Moyes or Allardyce instead of PL, Coates clearly thought he could get away with it with the quality we had. Would've been pleased with Warnock/Bruce short term post-PL I advocated for Steve Bruce short term instead of NJ and everyone laughed that off. It wouldve given us a bit of stability. Your NJ punts might work if they have a solid base to kick off from. It's always been a task too big for him. Now my priority would still be Allardyce, then Moyes, I could live with Hughton because he'd be a step up from GR/NJ I could stomach Holloway or Mccarthy too, both upgrades on GR/NJ We can't continue with NJ - he's incapable of delivering and he's had loads of time and loads of patience. What about you, who would you go for if at all?

You will find that a deal may be closer, because he has spoken to the club few times. Where's the proof? Source who i know, and WHO i can trust in the press.

We should not sack unless we have a very good replacement ready to go.
What is the point?
Its easy to sack a manager, difficult to make a good appointment.

It's a combination of the last 2 managers awful signings. Both Rowett and Jones were absolutely awful choices. I said at the time they were the wrong choices in our predicament. I just hope the board make the right choice this time or we're league one bound and will be in the football wilderness for many years. Come on then oracle, who is the correct manager ?

You just know he is going to be successful everywhere he goes after us. He is in desperate need of 1 transfer window here and i believe that would be the solution. Most of what we are doing is more than enough to win most games, unbelievable bad luck.

What's the point in sacking Jones unless we can get a name like Houghton? What happens if / when he succumbs to the same problems the last 3 managers have all experienced?
Big questions needs to be asked of the hierarchy and Scholes about just what the fuck they have let happen to this club, and what they are doing here to justify their salaries (here's looking at you, Teflon). There's deep rooted Sunderland sized problems running through this club and whilst I fear it's too late to rectify them this season, they need to be addressed. A big overhaul needs to happen at the top.

The hierarchy don’t seem to have a clue but the manager signs the players and he trains the players and he picks the players and signs shit players, seems to have made them worse despite his protestations the training is great and picks players that constantly disappear or make mistakes... I don’t understand why people seem to think there’s some voodoo curse on us when we’ve just had 2 shit managers who wasted millions on shit players

I cant give an answer to what it is, but it's far deeper than two managers. They've had to much of a hands off approach because Pulis ran a tight ship, Hughes was able to carry that on for 3 years, but when it comes to actually running the club, as last night's shot showed- they haven't got the foggiest in what to do. They employed Paul Lamber ffs.

The thing is before Butland drops the ball no one can have had any complaints. We looked superb. It's just.... mind-boggling. If that was the only issue nobody would complain, but it’s not. We concede then fall apart like nearly every other time. Not good enough.

JC: Morning Tony, any applications arrive in the post this morning?
TS: Fuck all yet John.
JC: Did you hear that Dad?
PC: Shit - give him the vote of confidence and the Huddy game, we will have to buy some more time. Still, we will come out of this OK as people will think we are not hire and fire owners.
JC: OK Dad
