Pulis on Sky just. Sounds like he’s been watching Stoke quite a bit and wouldn’t rule out a return. He said he'd never talk about another manager's job. I wouldn't read into it either way (and I'd be happy to have him back so not saying that cos I don't want him back). He seemed pissed off to me.

I didn’t mean you with wanting to stick with jones but pardew would defo be a upgrade but saying that so would my 7 year old grandson Mate I’ve seen Stoke for 50 years and if the owners can’t see Pardew fir what he is then I’m finished! He’s solely I. It for himself as proved at WBA and was happy with the sack to get the compo.....I really don’t want him at my club! Don’t get me wrong he wouldn’t be my choice but I don’t think we are in a position to get a hughton or moyes. I honestly think the best bloke to get us out of this mess is pulis.

My hopes built up and shattered. Yet, we'd employ that fool instead. He did rave again about the owners and the club but he just seemed annoyed to me. I don't really know what gave me that impression. You'd hope he'd come back instead of Pardew but I imagine Tony Scholes would have none of it. I think he'd be a more "popular" appointment, in that people would accept it because he's our dinosaur in a needs must situation where as Pardew is just an arrogant arse and not really any better. Baffling really!

Gracia Hughton Pulis
In that order. If TP’s return would mean Scholes resigns TP would move to second....possibly top.

Just heard rumour Pulis caretaker to end of season? God forbid Pardew......no! Still hoping for Moyes or Hughton! Wanted Moyes before Hughes was sacked, may have kept us up. He went to West Ham instead and kept them up from a similar situation. Hughton's record is second to none in the Championship though, whereas Moyes hasn't coached in it for nearly 20 years. When he took over Brighton they were in a similar situation to this and going down to League One. Without huge money he built an excellent team at this level, took them up and then kept them up. Also took Newcastle up and kept them up.

Don’t think it’s a given he’d play Allen, he’s too small.

Gregory probably goes on the right let’s be honest. Hogan as a second striker?

I always quite liked Whitehead, that wasn’t meant as a slant at him from myself. Joe Allen is just the present day Dean Whitehead.

I would have had him down as playing CCV over Collins at RB.
