The players in this squad should be doing better than they are. They are as culpable for this mess as our manager and board. Can we just get rid of fucking everyone please and start again?! A stint in the third tier might do us some good. We’ll find out soon enough. Some said EXACTLY the same thing in our relegation (from the Prem) season!!! "a stint in the championship might do us good!!!" Look how that's panning out so far!!!

What is our worst start in history? Presumably this ? Did we start this badly in the Holocaust season all those years ago? I'm too depressed to be arsed to look it up.

The worst thing about today is Birmingham were fuckin woeful and we still got beat😡 Couldn't agree more, they were fucking awful for 60 minutes and we were only marginally better. In fact the first half was one of the worst 45 minutes I've ever seen. It was also obvious that we would concede two because we always fucking do, so even when 1-0 up I knew we wouldn't win. In fact I put money on it. You can win a lot of cash this season I reckon if you're prepared to bet against Stoke. It was also good to see the SCFC Charity in full effect. What's that? A 16 year old kid making his home debut you say? Would you like it if he scored a deflected winner? No problem. Going down this season I'm afraid. It'll probably take a spell (hopefully short) in Division 3 to sort things out. Incidentally, is there a club with a richer owner in a shittier league position anywhere else in the world?

Comparing that situation with this one is not really fair though as we must have been favourites fro relegation then. We had a threadbare squad and no resources to improve it. Our current manager has had backing that Asprey could only have dreamt about.

It only takes another bad season and you could find yourself in the bottom tier, where you could not afford another bad season.

"a stint in the championship might do us good!!!" Look how that's panning out so far!!! Apparently they were the real fans who were looking for real football again. Some wrote big essays about the charm of emptier stadiums and less razzmataz. I guess it's more charming the further down we drop...?
