I think there's a case for the fact that away fans always seem to stand which is far better for singing and creating an atmosphere. That and more refreshment has been partaken of!

The awayday is not just about the football, its meeting your mates at 7am for breakfast and a few beers, a few games of cards and a sing song on the train and a few more beers, taking over a pub in there town with a few more beers, a few old songs with more beers, a dirty burger and a few more cans while been escorted to the ground, a few more beers sing your hearts out for your team for 90 minutes win lose or draw, back home moan to the wife while you eat your takeaway curry, bed for 9 Beats any home game
