This is excellent news. Bye Kevin (unless you change your mind and actually want to try to be a footballer again one day in the next 4 years) And they don’t particularly like Germans

He'll be playing against Berahino at some point then I think. That'll be an interesting game, the star striker making zero effort yet probably still managing to score due to a fat waster centre-half marking him. It will be interesting , i doubt either of them will touch the ball due to the fact they will be rolling around on the pitch laughing their bollocks off thinking about their big fat paychecks that they,re getting off Stoke ,jeeze what were we playing at here when we signed these wasters

I can't think of one other profession, industry, job or sport where there's zero consequence to not doing your job & being that unprofessional.

Kevin’s biggest issue is he’s not very good and we got screwed on the price and wages for him. If it was some of our other genuine scum bags they would have turned this move down. Kevin has not refused to play, said he doesn’t want to play in the Championship, got his agent to bitch and moan. The fact we’ll be paying his wages only blemishes Hughes’ achievements and questions our processes and why they’ve not been changed. Yes he’s being paid huge sums of money but this should slap the Coates family around the face for their poorly run club. Good luck Kev, you massively overpaid person who kicks a ball. But that's the really strange bit for me. Surely there's a better chance at a move to another club or possibility to progress his career in the Championship rather than playing in the arse end of Belgium? Financially and professionally, the move makes no sense.

I understand that every club makes mistakes when signing players, and that sometimes a big money transfer doesn't pay off. But this fat cunt has gone from being and international player and fairly well thought of by Spurs and their fans, to coming here for decent money, to playing in the German league to playing for some Belgian pub side within a few years. How the fuck has his career spiralled so far out of control in such a short amount of time? He ought to be ashamed of himself. Was he ever any good? Spurs signed him for £4m as back up to Vertongen. He made, what, 10-15 appearances when Vertongen was injured and suddenly he’s an £18m player with Hughes stating.............."Bringing Kevin here is a real coup in my view, because he is a hugely talented young player who will undoubtedly add further quality to the group...There is a lot of money being spent this summer, so for us to get a player of Kevin’s calibre through the door for the price we have paid, in my opinion, is something we will really appreciate for years to come". Yeh right Mark.

It's funny you know when you really look at it we stumped up an eye watering £18 million for a player with a Tottenham Hotspur logo on him. But truth is he only ever started 9 league games for Spurs when Jan Vertonghen was injured, Spurs only conceded 6 goals in those 9 games, but it was a season when Spurs finished 2nd and most of his playing time was against opposition where there was very little defending to do. It just makes you wonder who watched him, I mean really watched him ? I know quite few very dedicated Spurs fans through my work. They all reckoned he was a very able replacement for Vertonghen. He actually played 15 games for them and it was a very successful run for them with very few goals conceded. It's also not true that he played against lesser opposition. He played at Man City where Spurs won 2-1, he played at Liverpool where they drew 1-1 and in the Arsenal derby which ended up 2-2. Still they were gobsmacked when Stoke offered £18m. But something has gone horribly wrong since he came to Stoke.

One of them was Stoke City though, I know because I was at that match at White Hart Lane. It was the game where Spurs effectively 'declared' at half time when they were 4-0 up! He certainly didn't have much to do that day!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Excel_MouscronFinished 10th in Belgian league last year Average crowds of 3000. Blimey. Barrel Scraped. Christ knows what percentage of his wages they're paying. But got to think it'll just about keep him in waffles and chips with mayo. I’m gonna guess they’re paying 10 % maximum. It’s so humiliating seeing the £15m figure we spaffed on him, Jesus fucking Christ. We haemorrhaged money on some transfers. It almost makes £3m for Diego Arismendi look reasonable 😭

Yeh right Mark. That's just it. No. Austria are 27th in FIFA's rankings, 3 behind Wales and 2 ahead of Northern Ireland. He was, to Tottenham, a punt, a back up. And never broke through really. We basically bought an overweight Craig Cathcart.

Maybe there is a form of personal competition going on with points awarded for noteworthy achievements. Whichever of our loanees and former players performs best away from Stoke, gets a chance of redemption and a return.
